Ein möbliertes Zimmer in 2er-WG frei ab 01.05.2023

I am a PhD student in DKFZ and looking for a flatmate starting from 1st May 2023 in Rohrbach/Heidelberg. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested, feel free to reply to this message or contact the landlady ().

1. Logistics:
• At least one year contract. The landlady is a former DKFZ PhD but is not living in Heidelberg anymore. Therefore, she is looking for long-term contract.
• Please introduce yourself a bit and what you are looking for. Please do not worry if you do not get an immediate reply.
• Online video apartment visit and Q&A on 22.04.2023 19:00. We will send you the meeting invite one day before.
• On-site visit on 29.04.2023 between 10:00-12:00. and potential contract signing/key handover on 30.04.2023.

2. About me:
I am an open-minded and easy-going person, like to cook and travel. Most time I work in the lab, but also need to do home office occasionally.

3. Who I am looking for:
• Responsible and caring (sharing the cleaning duties, taking care of the apartment and common utilites, etc)
• Communitive and responsive (you do not need to be talkative but I do not like someone who ignore messages)
• Clean and quiet (hosting parties is OK but only occasionally and keep to the house rules and not disturbing the neighbors)

4. About the apartment:

The entire apartment is ca. 70 sqm with a large balcony spanning all the rooms on the south side.
Your room is ca. 16 sqm, with a big window to nice view (no building in front view). No access to the balcony though.
The apartment/room is fully furnished, you will have a bed, a desk, a chair 3-door wardrobe, a shelf and a chest of drawers and a fridge. The bed contains 6 big drawers for extra storage. You will have some extra storage place in the chest and shelf at the common corridor.
The kitchen was renovated ca 2 years ago. The space is very large, equipped with induction cooker, hood, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator, cleaning robot, and plenty of kitchen utensils from the landlady.
The bathroom is equipped with bath tub and washing machine.
You will need to share the kitchen and bathroom shared with me.
Super nice location and very convenient for everyday life. There is a bus station (Bus 28 and 33) directly downstairs, and there are supermarkets, pharmacies, post offices, and bakeries within 1 minute of walking distance. 8 minutes walking distance to the Tram stop Freiburger Str (Tram 23 and 24), to the railway station, the city center, Neuenheim and Dossenheim. It takes 5 minutes to ride to the largest Kaufland in Heidelberg, or in the other direction to Kirchheim/Rohrbach Train station, and the nearby living center with REWE, Lidl, DM, etc.

5. About the rent

Cold Rent - 320 Euros/month
Additional cost (Nebenkosten) - 160 Euros/month, including utilities (warm/cold water & heating) and common maintenance (elevator, garbagy, cleaning of the common areas in the building etc.)
Not included costs - internet, electricity, radio fees (sharing with me)
