Wir nehmen kurzfristig auch jemanden zur Zwischenmiete auf, also wenn du für ein paar Wochen ein Dach über dem Kopf brauchst dann schreib uns an :)
We are also looking for a temporary roommate, so if you need a place for a few weeks then leave us a message.
permanent roomates are still welcome, don't mind what the ad says :)
The nicest shared apartment on Uniplatz has a room available!
We are Hayley, Krishna and Moritz. Since Krishna will unfortunately be leaving Heidelberg, we are now looking for a nice roommate for our super centrally located apartment right on Universitätsplatz in Heidelberg's old town.
The shared flat:
Overall, the WG is 128m large, has two bathrooms, a large kitchen and a large living room (including a view of the castle!) with a large sofa, dining table, chairs, lamps and shelves. There is also a spacious attic for storing things that can be accessed directly from the apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size fridge, stove, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, blender, and everything else you might need.
Your room:
The room is square in shape with a window and heating. The window faces the main street and keeps the room lovely and bright with a lot of sunlight.
Furniture:
There is a wardrobe and some drawers to be taken over for a small fee of €200 but you will need to bring a bed.
The apartment is super centrally located on Uniplatz, so you can reach everything you need very quickly by bike, on foot or by bus. Parking spaces are available at a distance thanks to the resident ID card.
The bus stop is not even a minute's walk away and if you walk out the front door, you end up in the middle of Heidelberg's old town life, the main street and the Untere Street with all their bars are only a stone's throw away.
A supermarket and other shops are just around the corner. The fitness studio and Bismarckplatz are also not far, you can walk there in 10 minutes, by bike in less than 5. There is also a Späti market for emergencies at night in just a minute's walk.
We are an open, happy, international flat share - Krishna is from the USA (but is sadly leaving), Moritz is from Germany and Hayley from Australia. We have lived in a wonderfully functioning, mixed 3-person shared flat for the last few years, but we are open to everything and look forward to a working person or student.
In the large living room we can end the day together, start the evening at the weekend or generally just relax with Netflix and/or a beer. But of course there's nothing wrong with that if you want to retire to your room. There is also no such thing as a fixed flat share evening, so everything is more relaxed and as it suits you.
Since Hayley is not yet fluent in German (but is working hard on it), speaking English shouldn't be a problem for you :)
If the flat share has convinced you so far, or you still have questions, please write us something about yourself and we look forward to getting to know you soon!
Until then,
Hayley, Krishna and Moritz
