Hello to those who hate vogon poetry.
We are renting our third room in our lovely flat. The flat is located in the very heart of Beşiktaş; just near the downtown and Abbasağa Park. The universities surrounding are very close; like Mimar Sinan, Galatasaray, Bahçeşehir, Istanbul Technical, Yıldız Technical (10-15 min. by foot), also Boğaziçi (20-25 min. by bus). Taksim is just above us, like a swaying flag back and forth and it takes 7-10 min. by bus or dolmuş (shared taxi). In addition to closeness to the central spots, it is also close to the ferries to Üsküdar (7 min. by ferry) and Kadıköy (20 min. by ferry) which are the Asian feet of Istanbul.
The flat possesses all that we need: The whole sunshine of Istanbul, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, air conditioning, unlimited internet etc. The room has (together with the ones in the photos and the photos were taken in January 2016 for a former notice) two separated shelves and the feeling of coziness and the smoothness as an object seen. Also the last two photos showing living room was taken recently. The fabric on the ceiling looking like a dome belongs to our flatmate. She is going to take it while leaving. Bills are gonna be shared between three of us. For the first two months (February and March), bills are likely to be 150-200 lira per capita because of the heating system. Then it will go down to 50-75 lira per capita towards summer. No deposit.
I am 25-year-old story writer, studying cinema at Marmara Fine Arts. My flatmate is 24-year-old software developer, studying computer engineering at Istanbul Technical University. We are thoroughly, literally neat, cheerful folks (my flatmate is horribly awesome at laughter and complete badass at parties) and we want our flatmate to be the one to natter with and idyllically to share silence with (dramatization here). In the last two semesters, we first shared our flat with a German woman then a German couple (Holy German Circulation) who have already become lifelong members of our hood's gangsta unit.
We might get to live with two cats due to that my desperation after having constant dreams with cats and waking up without cats in a brutal circle.
