The room has a total area of 31 square metres and is divided into two areas. This allows the sleeping and living area to be organised separately. The room has two windows facing north, so it does not get too warm in summer. There are also large built-in wardrobes, so there is plenty of storage space available. The other furniture in the room visible in the photos (bed 140cm*200cm, sofa bed, desk, TV stand, coffee table, chest of drawers, wall shelves, curtains) can be purchased for a fair price.
The flat has a total of 195 square metres of living space. Access to the flat is via the rear of the building. Bicycles can be stored in the communal hallway.
The flat is accessed via the staircase. After the entrance door, you will find yourself in the spacious living, dining and kitchen area. From here you have access to the guest bathroom, the big bathroom with a toilet, shower and bathtub, the roof terrace and three bedrooms. One of these is the room to be rented.
A further staircase in the flat leads to the top floor. There are more rooms there. Two of them are rented to a member of the shared flat. The other rooms are currently not being used.
The flat is located directly in the city centre. Shops and facilities for daily needs are only a few metres away (Extrablatt, Deichmann, dm, banks, bakery, C&A, ice cream parlour, snack bars, pizzerias, steakhouse, pharmacies & doctors). Shopping facilities (e.g. Kaufland) are only 200-400 metres away. So you can easily do without a car and reach everything by bike or on foot.
The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences can be seen from the roof terrace (less than 150 metres away) and can be reached on foot in under 2 minutes.
The bus stop "Neues Rathaus" is right next to the flat. From there, buses run within Kamp-Lintfort, but also to other cities such as Duisburg, Krefeld or Geldern.
You will live with three roommates who have moved to Germany from different countries. One of your roommates is from India, one from Togo and one from America. In the shared apartment, everyone speaks to each other in english and helps each other, especially when there are difficulties finding their way around Germany.
