Hello,
we are looking for a roomy in our shared Flat.
If you are interested in our apartment write an email and tell us a little bit about you.
Who you are, what you are doing in Karlsruhe, your hobbies, whether you have shared living experience or not. if you are a party guy or more a calm type of a guy.... I know it sounds annoying but we all, you and us, want to make sure to have a good time here in Karlsruhe;).
--------------------------------------
Brief look at the highlights:
- 17,7 square meter, nicely (historical) furnished room with high ceilings
- in the center of Karlsruhe still very quiet
- unique sight on botanique garden and Karlsruhe's Art Museum
- washing machine in the apartment
- oven, microwave, big refrigerator and freezer
- botanique and palace garden accros the street... forest 5minutes away
- university and KIT very close
- sunny backyard with the option to store one's bike
- bedding and towels... inclusive
- option to play Epiano
- fast WiFi
In general the apartment is located in the center of Karlsruhe (Tram stop: Europaplatz.) where you can get and reach everything in Karlsruhe.
The apartment is close to universities: KIT, PH (pädagogische Hochschule), University of Karlsruhe, Hochschule for Technique
The Karlsruher Art gallery, the botanique garden and the castle garden is right across the street (The Botanique Garden and the castle garden is the place in Karlsruhe to relax and hang out when it's warm and/or sunny). From your window you can actually see the botanique garden. If you want to have a look an the botanique garden oder castle garden just google for "Botanischer Garten Karlsruhe" or "Schlosspark Karlsruhe"
The Karlsruher "forrest" is also 5 minutes away. It is good spot for running activities
Around the corner there is:
- a supermarket (Aldi) - one minute by foot.
- a gym - one minute by foot
- tram stop (Europaplatz) - 3 minutes by foot
- several places to get something to eat.
...
You will live with me Chris and Lisa who is my girlfriend. But no worries it neither will be awkward for you or us. Shared living is a routine for us.
I have recently graduated and started as a teacher for music, art and English
Lisa is doing an apprenticeship as a physiotherapist.
In terms of eating habits, we try to eat healthy.... Lisa is 90% vegan and I also tend to eat "vegan", although I also eat meat once a week. Since we do not have an extractor hood in the kitchen we fry very rarely. Especially when it comes to meat I avoid frying it because afterwards the apartment smells hours. Our future roomy neither has to be vegetarian nor vegan but on the other hand it should not be someone who likes to fry meat every day...
Generally speaking I don't see a problem since most students who come here use to eat in the university canteen anyways...
