Lage
Die Innenstadtlage könnte besser nicht sein, wir wohnen in der Katzenstraße im Mosaique, also keine Minute vom Rathausplatz entfernt. Für ein Bier oder alternative Erfrischungsgetränke liegt das GuMo gleich nebenan und am Mittwoch/Samstag ist der Markt direkt um die Ecke.


Location
The city center location couldn't be better, we live in Katzenstraße in Mosaique, less than a minute away from Rathausplatz. For a beer or alternative refreshments, the GuMo is right next door and on Wednesday/Saturday the market is just around the corner.

WG-Leben
Unser WG-Leben gestaltet sich gemeinschaftlich und entspannt und das wünschen wir uns auch weiterhin. Wir sitzen gerne spontan am Abend zusammen und halten den ein oder anderen Schnack oder dekorieren das Wohnzimmer um. Wir versuchen (so regelmäßig es geht) einmal pro Woche einen gemeinsamen WG-Abend zu machen, zu dem eine Person abwechselnd für alle kocht. Sauberkeit in der WG ist uns wichtig, dafür haben wir auch einen gut funktionierenden Putzplan.

Deine zukünftigen Mitbewohnis:
Lisita
hat letztes Semester ihre Masterarbeit in Staatswissenschaften abgegeben, und kommt gerade frisch von einer zweimonatigen Columbien-Reise zurück. Sie arbeitet als Journalistin beim NDR in Hamburg. Morgens oder abends findet man sie oft Podcasts-hörend in der Küche wieder. Sie liebt es, zu Kochen und hat eine ähnlich große Leidenschaft fürs Theater oder fürs morgendliche Joggen gehen, nachdem sie eine Runde auf dem Wochenmarkt gedreht hat. Außerdem hat sie immer ein offenes Ohr für ihre Mitbewohnis, mit ihr kannst du also auf jeden Fall mit dem ein oder anderen Talk in der Küche rechnen 🌞

Charlotte
kocht ebenfalls gerne vegetarisch/vegan, macht gerne Sport (vor allem Laufen, Gymnastik und Schwimmen), spielt Klavier und hat mit Freund/innen letztes Jahr einen kleinen Verein gegründet, über den sie jedes Jahr ein kleines Festival organisieren.
Sie arbeitet seit Oktober als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Leuphana und wird im Frühjahr voraussichtlich mit ihrer Doktorarbeit in Nachhaltigkeitswissenschaften fertig sein.
Charlotte wird allerdings auch erst Anfang März einziehen und erstmal nur für ein halbes Jahr zur Untermiete bei uns wohnen (da unsere andere Mitbewohnerin Lisa im Erasmus ist). 🍄

Lu
studiert Umweltwissenschaften im dritten Semester an der Leuphana. Sie ist der Sonnenschein der WG und immer für spontane Gespräche oder Unternehmungen zu haben. Außerdem ist sie gerne und viel mit Freund/innen unterwegs, und liebt es, feiern oder ins Theater zu gehen. Lu verbringt aber auch gerne Zeit mit handwerklichen Tätigkeiten, sei es Stricken, Schmuck basteln oder Häkeln. Mit ihr kannst du auch immer gemeinsam über den Wochenmarkt schlendern oder auf Second-Hand-Jagd gehen. Sie hat dafür ein absolutes Gespür und findet dabei immer wieder Schätze. ✨

Alvee
arbeitet gerade an seiner Bachelorarbeit in IBAE, und nebenbei in Hamburg in der Eventbranche. Er ist ein begnadeter Koch und liebt es, für die WG und seine Freund/innen zu kochen! Alvee ist ein super herzlicher Mensch, und du kannst mit ihm immer über absolut alles reden - von Politik bis zum römischen Reich, über seine Zeit in den USA oder über bengalisches Essen. Wenn du gerne FIFA spielst, freut er sich auch immer über ein Match 🌼



Shared flat life
Our shared flat life is communal and relaxed, and we want to keep it that way. We like to sit together spontaneously in the evening and have a chat or two or redecorate the living room. We try (as regularly as we can) to have an evening together once a week, when one person takes it in turns to cook for everyone. Cleanliness in the shared flat is important to us, which is why we have a well-functioning cleaning plan.


Your future flatmates:
Lisita
completed her Master's thesis in political science last semester and has just returned from a two-month trip to Columbia. She works as a journalist at NDR in Hamburg. You can often find her listening to podcasts in the kitchen in the mornings or evenings. She loves cooking and has a similar passion for the theater or going jogging in the morning after a run at the weekly market. She also always has an open ear for her flatmates, so you can definitely count on her for a chat or two in the kitchen 🌞

Charlotte
also likes to cook vegetarian/vegan food, enjoys sports (especially running, gymnastics and swimming), plays the piano and founded a small association with friends last year, through which they organise a small festival every year.
She has been working as a research assistant at Leuphana since October and is expected to finish her doctoral thesis in sustainability sciences in the spring.
However, Charlotte will move in in the beginning of March but will only be living with us as a subtenant for six months (as our other flatmate Lisa is on Erasmus). 🍄

Lu
is studying environmental sciences in her third semester at Leuphana. She is the sunshine of the flat share and is always up for spontaneous conversations or activities. She also likes to go out with friends a lot and loves to party or go to the theatre. Lu also enjoys spending time doing handicrafts, be it knitting, making jewellery or crocheting. You can always stroll around the weekly market with her or go second-hand hunting. She has an absolute flair for this and always finds treasures. ✨

Alvee
is currently working on his bachelor's thesis in IBAE, while also working in the event industry in Hamburg. He is a gifted chef and loves cooking for the flat share and his friends! Alvee is a super warm person and you can always talk to him about absolutely anything - from politics to the Roman Empire, about his time in the USA or about Bengali food. If you like playing FIFA, he's always happy to play a match 🌼

Sonstiges
Die WG ist Teil des Mosaique Haus der Kulturen, dementsprechend läuft der Mietvertrag auch über das Mosaique. Daher solltest du dich mit den Werten des Hauses und der Charta identifizieren können. Darüber hinaus freut sich das Mosaique, wenn man sich hier einbringt, das kann alles sein (von Initiativen die Tür aufzumachen, bei den Events mithelfen, das Social Media Team unterstützen, ein eigenes Projekt starten usw…). Großer Vorteil hieran ist, man hat eine sympathische Hausgemeinschaft und ein inspirierendes Umfeld dazu.

Other
The shared flat is part of the Mosaique House of Cultures, so the tenancy agreement also runs through the Mosaique. You should therefore be able to identify with the values of the house and the charter. Mosaique is also happy for you to get involved, which can be anything (from opening the door to initiatives, helping out at events, supporting the social media team, starting your own project, etc...). The great advantage of this is that you have a friendly house community and an inspiring environment.
