If you are an international coming to Munich for work or study this is the right room for you! (However, Germans are of course also welcome!) We use to speak english.
Your potential future room is around 13 sqm in size, has a large nice window with roller shutter to the garden side. The room is fully furnished. You will find a very large 3 m wardrobe, a 140 x 200 cm Queen size bed (incl. mattress, mattress protection cover, duvet and pillow, duvet cover) and a desk plus chair.
It's a private room in a fully equipped shared appartment, which has in total 3 private rooms (for a max total of 4 flatmates) and 21 sqm common areas to share (master bathroom, guest bathroom, kitchen, dining area).
The kitchen is completely equipped and includes a dishwasher, a microwave oven as well as a stove and a baking oven and a large fridge with freezer, toaster, kettle & coffee maker. You don't need to bring any plates or cutlery as the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for basic cooking.
Apart from that you will find the basics you need in the apartment such as a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.
We have a basement laundryroom with a own washing maschine and a dryer. Use is included in the rental price.
The rent is "all-inclusive" and includes heating, water, power as well as the high-speed internet connection. This is an official place to live and you will be able to also officially register with the city (KVR, townhall registration) and use the letter box etc.
The room has an unlimited availability, however, you can also stay for a fixed amount of time if you prefer (the mimium stay is 6 months).
The apartment is in the nice district Grosshadern in the South-West of Munich. It's a residential and very green neighboorhood with some very old trees in the gardens. The popular Westpark recreation area [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westpark_(Munich) ] is in 2,7 km distance and connected by Bus 268 in 27 min reachable.
The connection to public transport is very good as the underground line 6 (U6) is only 5 minutes away (stop Haderner Stern) and takes you to Munich Central Marienplatz and the inner city within 20 minutes. You have also two bus lines (268, 160) stopping close by (1 minute) at busstop Saalburgstrasse.

With regard to shopping, you can find bakery and several supermarkets around such as EDEKA, ReWe and a organic supermarket "Vollkorner" within a few minutes reach. A near weekly streetmarket for fresh food is held twice a week also. You can also find several restaurants & take away (italien, chinese, vietnam, german, turkish) as well as two beer gardens, fitness studios, a post office, bank offices, a pharmacy, doctors and the LMU Großhadern hospital in walking distance.
This is a calm and friendly place to live and it is mainly targeted towards internationals that come to Munich to work or study either for a limited time or also longer term.
A total of max 4 people live in the apartment, split into three private rooms. Very relaxed atmosphere, happy to have a chat or help answer any questions, at the same time everyone has privacy and doesn't have to engage. In order to preserve the good living atmosphere, everyone has to adhere to a cleaning plan.
However, as your potential flatmates have a regular job or perform studys you should be looking for and support a place where everyone can live in peace and relax from work.
If you are an open-minded person, are keen to live in an international shared apartment and also know the basics of living together in a shared flat you are the right person!
