Die Top-Lage der Wohnung befindet sich in der Georgenstr. zwischen Arcisstraße und Isabelleastr.
Nächste U-Bahn ist Josephsplatz.

Umgebung
Direkt ums Eck ist der Alte Nordfriedhof, der ja seit 1944 stillgelegt ist, und offiziell als Freizeit- und Erholungsstätte ausgewiesen ist. In dieser grünen Oase wird gechillt gepicknickt, sonnengebadet, gejoggt, usw.
Ebenfalls ums Eck ist der Elisabethplatz mit dem Elisabethmarkt, wo man frisches Gemüse, Fisch, Fleisch, etc kaufen kann.
Auch ist das süße Art House Isabellakino direkt ums Eck.
Die meistes der großen Museen Münchens sind durch einen kleinen Spaziergang erreichbar: Die 3 Pinakotheken (Alte, Neue, Moderne), Brandhorst, Lenbachhaus, Kunstbau, Glyptothek, die Staatliche Sammlung für Ägyptische Kunst...

Öffis
Die nächste U-Bahnstation (U1 / U2) ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt am Josephsplatz.
Man braucht also nur 10 bis 15 Minuten vom Inneren der Wohnung bis zum Hauptbahnhof, und hat u.A. eine direkte Verbindung ins Glockenbachviertel (Frauenhoferstr.) und zur Messestadt Riem.
Mit dem Fahrrad ist man sowieso überall sehr schnell, und das ist wohl eh die beste Option.

Einkaufen
Auf der anderen Straßenseite ist ein Rewe, also ca. 8 Meter entfernt.
Seit einigen Montan gibt es nun, bur 100 Meter entfernt einen Späti, der auch ein DHL Paketshop ist. Das ist extrem angenehm, da man hier immer Pakete abholen und abgeben kann, ohne lange anzustehen oder weit weggehen zu müssen.
Ein Lidl ist 800 Meter entfernt.
Es gibt fußläufig weitere Supermärkte, Drogerien, und alle möglichen anderen Geschäfte.
Einer der besten Bäcker der Stadt, Julius Brantner, ist direkt die Straße runter.

The top location of the flat is in Georgenstr. between Arcisstraße and Isabellastraße
Just around the corner is the Old North Cemetery (Alter Nordfriedhof), which has been disused since 1944 and is officially designated as a leisure and recreation area. This green oasis is a great place for chilling out, picnicking, sunbathing, jogging, etc. The Englischer Garten & Olympiapark are about 20 Minutes walking distance.
Also around the corner is Elisabethplatz with the Elisabethmarkt (a market), where you can buy fresh vegetables, fish, meat, etc.
One of the best bakeries in the city, Julius Brantner, is also just down the street.
The cute art house cinema Isabellakino is also just around the corner.
The majority of the great museums of Munich are in strolling distance: the 3 Pinakotheken (old, new, modern), Museum Brandhorst, Lenbachhaus, Kunstbau, Glyptothek, State Museum of Egyptian Art...

Public transport
The nearest underground station (U1 / U2) is a 4-minute walk away at Josephsplatz.
So you only need 10 to 15 minutes from inside the flat to the main railway station, and have a direct connection to the Glockenbachviertel (Frauenhoferstr.) and the Messestadt Riem.
But arguably the best thing is taking the bicycle.

Shopping
Literally just on the other side of the street is a Rewe supermarket. I have never lived so close to a supermarket before in my life.
Only a few moths ago a Späti (a shop that is open longer than 8pm) opened just 100 meters away. This shop of also a DHL delivery point, which makes life a lot easier, because you can always pick up or drop parcels here.
A Lidl is 800 metres away.
There are other supermarkets, drugstores and all kinds of other shops within walking distance.

Im Idealfall verstehen wir und gut und gehen gerne mal was zusammen trinken, schauen einen Film, eine Serie zusammen und essen miteinander, oder sonstwas! Ich finde, sowas kann man aber auch nicht voraussetzten, denn wenn das Zusammenleben mehr nur zweckgebunden ist, und jeder sein Ding macht, ist das auch voll OK. Am wichtigsten ist es, dass es zwischenmenschlich gut passt und sich jeder wohl fühlt und man sich respektiert und ein zu Hause hat, in welchem man sich wohl fühlt.

Über mich
Ich arbeite in der Filmbranche, gehe sehr gerne ins Kino, ins Theater, treffe Freunde, lese, gehe joggen oder spiele Tennis. Ich bin in München geboren und aufgewachsen, habe dann jahrelang in England, Spanien, Belgien, Österreich und den USA gelebt, bevor ich wieder nach München gezogen bin. Ich habe international management studiert.

Ideally, we get on well, enjoy to have a drink, watch a film/series and cook/eat together once in a while, or whatever, but I think that cannot be a fixed expectation, because if living together is more purposeful and everyone does their own thing, that's totally OK. Either way, what's most important is that there's a good interpersonal fit, sympathy, respect - we should both feel easy and comfortable at home.
