The flat in general is on the third out of six floors, but even though it might be tiring to climb the stairs there is also a lift. The room is fully furnished - bed, table, chair, heater, wardrobe; the room windows and balcony face the east side. The flat is newly renovated and I, as the first person to have lived in this room after the renovation, will have lived here only for 4 months, so the room is still pretty new. The room has new 2 extension cords, coat hangers and 2 lamps for which and some other additions that we had to buy for the flat I would also like to get 200 euros. The additions include some furniture for the bathroom, hallway and a vacuum cleaner. Also, even though the general price for the room is 820 euros, there is also additional wifi, electricity and TV bill that we split montly.
The flat has a new kitchen with an oven, electric stove and a dishwasher and a bathroom with 2 sinks and a bath.
The building has washing machines and dryers downstairs along with a basement for bikes.
I would also like to mention that in the middle of August the windows of the room will be changed to new ones, but you will not have to worry about it, as I am renting the room out from September.
I would prefer that the room would be taken from August 15th!
The building is in the best place it could be - right near Münchner Freiheit (about 2 minutes of walking) which means that everything you need is right nearby. The metro U6 and U3 are running every 5-10 minutes, if you need to get anywhere further, there is always a quick connection to the main train/bus station. If you are a student at LMU or TUM the universities are easily reached by public transport, bike or a simple walk. There is a REWE less than a minute walk away and a LIDL 5-10 minutes away and all the other shops (pharmacies, hardware stores etc.) are also within 10-20 minute walking distance. The nicest thing is obviously the Englischer Garten which is also 10 minutes away on foot. Also, worth mentioning is that there is a lot of bars and cafes nearby, which is also very convenient.
The life in our WG is really simple: Jomy (27) is getting his PhD, Max (22) is in his first year of Masters at TUM, Lisa (24) is working in a restaurant (but she is leaving soon so another guy will replace her) and Fabian (27) is also working in a consulting company - as you see everybody has their own stuff to do, but every single one of them is also a very nice roommate to have. We are not some close and dependant community, but it is obviously nice to sometimes chat, or cook, or watch a movie together. If the time is right, we even go out or go on a hike to the mountains - if there is motivation, there will always be someone joining you. In the end, if you worry about the sound from the neighbours - yes, the building is not only full of students, there are also some families living here, but throughout my time here I have not been disturbed by any sounds coming from the neighbours.
Please write me if you find this offer interesting! In the introductory message I would like to read a few things about you - what you do/plan to do, some hobbies of yours, of course your age and anything else that you might think is worth adding (maybe a link to a social media account or anything else that could let us get an easier impression of you :) ).
