The flat covers two floors (9th and 10th), with this room another bedroom and the two bathrooms on the lower level, while one room, the kitchen and the living room are all on the upper floor.
The view is amazing on all sides with private balconies for every room and floor on the west side of the building, and an openly accessible (but never used by anyone else) balcony access on the East facing side, where you can see the Allianz Stadium, Highlight Towers and the english garden.
The room is really big with a great balcony and a beautiful view on the mountains as well as on the olympic park, Luitpoldpark, BMW tower, O2 tower. The room itself is 24m2 and has a wooden floor, plenty of power sockets, great internet connection and a nice heating. There is also blinds for the big windows. There is two really nice bathrooms so there is never a problem and one is always free :) The living room and kitchen is really nice to chill and have afterwork drinks. The whole appartment is really open, spacious and light. You will love it!
For storage, the appartment is very large but there is also basement storage where we keep the bikes, snow sports equipment and all kinds of other equipment. The appartment also comes with an underground car park space but this is being rented out to others at the moment.
There is everything you will need here too, with household appliances, clothes washing machine, fully fitted kitchen, dishwashing machine etc.
The location in right next to Schwabinger Tor is great! There is a tram stop just outside of the appartment block which can take you to Münchner Freiheit in 5 min. The U2/U3 are closest at Scheidplatz, which you arrive easily by bus in 5 min (leaves in front of the building) or you can walk there for about 10 min.
If you have a bike, there is enough bike parking slots outside of the building and if you ride down Leopoldstrasse you are within 10 minutes in the city centre!
There is also a midnight bus which runs the whole night and stops right infront of our building from the city. On top of that the Lufthansa Bus is also only a 10-15 min walk from our flat.
For food shopping etc. there is everything you need in walking distance. Netto, Edeka, DM, Lidl are all within 3 to 10 walking minutes.
I would love to stay here but moving in with my boyfriend who starts his new job in Munich. The two flatmates are Miguel (mechanical engineer at BMW / 32 / Spanish) and Max (working at Amazon / 28 / german). Both are super nice and have been amazing flatmates ans both speak fluent German and English. And Miguel obviously also spesks Spanish :D
If you enjoy any type of snow sports or other types of sports then you will for sure find activities to do together!
We also like to host some parties due to this amazing spacious appartment. It is only held with everyone agreeing to them.
It has always been a good feeling in the appartment and no issues so they would be looking to keep that feeling, other than this there are no restrictions on who you can be.
Miguel is the main tenant and both Miguel and Max have lived there for years. Miguel also bought the kitchen and the ewuipment so there is a Ablösevereinbarung (900€).
