Die WG liegt an der „Grenze“ zwischen Hafen und Westerberg, zwischen der Pagenstecher Straße und der Natruper Straße. Trotz der Lage zwischen den beiden Hauptverkehrsstraßen, ist es ziemlich ruhig, da die Wohnung nicht in einer Durchfahrtsstraße liegt.
Mit dem Fahrrad benötigst du 10 min in die Innenstadt, 3 min zum Campus Westerberg, zum Caprivi Campus sind es 8 min, zum Campus in Haste etwa 10 und zum Schloss 11 min. Lidl, Aldi, Edeka, Netto und dm sind fußläufig in 2 – 10 min erreichbar (Stellplätze sind direkt vor dem Haus). Durch die Lage an der Pagenstecher Straße sind auch KFC, McDonalds, Burger King und andere Fast Food Restaurants nicht weit.
Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist 3 min entfernt, mit dem Bus sind es dann etwa 18 min bis zum Bahnhof und keine 10 min bis in die Innenstadt.
Falls Du ein Auto hast, gibt es hier auch reichlich Möglichkeiten, um es kostenfrei abzustellen.

Die Nähe zum Westerberg und zum Hase-Ufer-Weg lädt zum Spazieren gehen, Fahrrad fahren und Laufen ein. Auch das Benefit ist nicht weit (5min zu fuß), falls Du noch auf der Suche nach einem kostengünstigen Fitnessstudio bist.

The WG is on the "border" between Hafen and Westerberg, right between Pagenstecher Straße and Natruper Straße. Despite the location between the two main thoroughfares, it is fairly quiet .
It takes you 10 minutes by bike to get to the city center, 3 minutes to the Campus Westerberg, 8 minutes to the Caprivi campus, about 10 minutes to the Campus Haste and 11 minutes to the Schloss. Lidl, Aldi, Edeka, Netto and dm are a 2-10 minutes walk away (parking spaces are directly in front of the house). Due to its location next to the Pagenstecher Straße, KFC, McDonald's, Burger King, and other fast-food restaurants are right around the corner.
The nearest bus stop is 3 minutes away, then it's about 18 minutes by bus to the train station and less than 10 minutes to the city center.
If you have a car, there are also plenty of opportunities to park it for free.

The proximity to the Westerberg and the Hase-Ufer-Weg invites you to go for walks, bike rides, and jogging. The benefit is also not far (5min walk) if you are still looking for an inexpensive gym.

In der WG leben außer mir noch Lara (23) und Fynn (21). Lara studiert Geografie und Spanisch auf Lehramt im 2. Semester. Sie macht in ihrer Freizeit gerne DIYs, verbringt Zeit mit ihrem Hund (der leider nicht in der WG wohnt), geht ins Fitnessstudio und trifft sich mit Freunden. Fynn studiert im 5. Semester Fahrzeugtechnik. Er geht auch gerne ins Fitnessstudio, trifft sich mit Freunden und ist jederzeit zum Fußball schauen zu haben.
In der letzten Zeit haben wir angefangen ab und zu abends gemeinsam zu kochen oder die ein oder andere Netflix-Serie zu schauen. Eine richtige Party-WG sind wir nicht, was aber nicht bedeutet, dass wir nicht viel lachen und Spaß haben können. Es handelt sich also auf keinen Fall um eine Zweck-WG. Uns ist wichtig, dass sich jeder wohlfühlt. Somit kannst Du Dich auch jederzeit zurückziehen, worauf immer Rücksicht genommen wird. Bezogen auf das WG Leben ist uns wichtig, dass wir uns gut verstehen und Probleme immer ansprechen können, ohne dass direkt Konflikte entstehen!
Freund:innen sind natürlich immer willkommen!

~English version~

Besides me, Lara (23) and Fynn (21) are living in the shared flat. Lara is studying Geography and Spanish in the 2nd semester to become a teacher. In her free time, she likes to do DIYs, spend time with her dog (who unfortunately doesn't live in the shared flat), go to the gym and meet up with friends. Fynn is in the 5th semester of studying automotive engineering. He also likes going to the gym, meeting up with friends, and is always available to watch soccer.
Lately, we've started to cook together in the evenings if it fits our schedule, or to watch one or the other Netflix series. We're not big party people, but that doesn't mean we can't laugh and have fun. So it is by no means a purpose-based shared flat. It is important to us that everyone feels comfortable. You can have alone time in your room at any time, which is always taken into account. With regard to living in a shared apartment, it is important to us that we get along well and can always address problems without conflicts arising!
Friends are of course always welcome!

Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, leider jedoch ohne Spülmaschine. Lebensmittel kauft jeder für sich, außer Gewürze, Mehl, Zucker und so weiter, das benutzen wir gemeinsam.
Unser Badezimmer ist zwar klein, aber mit einer Duschwanne ausgestattet, sodass Du nach einem langen Tag auch mal ein Bad nehmen könntest. :D
Nicht zu vergessen ist unser bereits anfangs erwähnter Balkon. Dieser ist schön groß und bietet sogar Platz, um etwas Gemüse anzubauen. Hier verbringen wir gerne Zeit zum Entspannen oder zum Vortrinken mit Freunden, wenn es das Wetter zulässt.

In der WG haben wir eine Art Putzplan. Das bedeutet, dass Du alle drei Wochen mit dem Putzen dran bist, was bei der eher kleinen Wohnung meist doch sehr flott erledigt ist.
Was uns wichtig wäre ist, dass Du ein ordentlicher und pflichtbewusster Mensch bist, denn das macht das WG-Leben doch um einiges entspannter :)

Zu den Möbeln möchte ich noch sagen, dass ich meine Matratze mitnehmen werde, eine Schaumstoffmatratze jedoch dableiben wird, falls Du keine 1,40m Matratze hast und Du dir für den Zeitraum keine neue kaufen möchtest.

Ansonsten besteht die Möblierung aus:

1 großer Kleiderschrank 1,00x0,58x2,36m mit zwei Kleiderstangen und einem Einlegeboden
1 Kommode mit 4 großen und zwei kleinen Schubladen
1 Schreibtisch mit zwei Alex Kommoden
1 Regal mit mehreren Böden
2er Kallax Regal
1 Fernsehschrank/regal (mit Fernseher 43")
1 ziemlich gemütlicher und stylischer „Sessel“/Stuhl
1 Spiegel

Was die Kaution angeht, sind 333€ der Kaution für das Zimmer an sich. Diese zahlst Du an mich (ich habe die mal an meine Vormieterin gezahlt). Die bekommst Du komplett zurück, wenn ich die Wohnung wieder übernehme.
Da die Möbel mir gehören möchte ich eine weitere Kaution von 200€ haben, von der Du am Ende alles wiederbekommst, wenn soweit alles in Ordnung ist, das mache ich nur zur Sicherheit, auch wenn ich Dir vertraue, dass Du gut mit meinen Sachen umgehst!!

The kitchen is well equipped, but unfortunately without a dishwasher. Everyone buys groceries for themselves, except for spices, flour, sugar, and so on, which we use together.
Our bathroom is small but has a shower and bathtub so you can take a bath after a long day. :D
Not to be forgotten is our already mentioned balcony. It's really nice and big and even offers space to grow some vegetables. This is where we like to spend time relaxing or "pre-drinking" with friends before going out (if the weather is good).

We have a kind of cleaning plan in the apartment. This means it is your turn to clean every three weeks, which is usually done very quickly in a rather small apartment.
What would be important to us is that you are a tidy and dutiful person because that makes shared flat life a lot more relaxed :)

Regarding the furniture, I would also like to say that I will take my mattress with me, but a foam mattress will remain if you do not have a 1.40m mattress and you do not want to buy a new one for the period.

Otherwise, the furniture consists of:

1 large wardrobe 1.00x0.58x2.36m with two clothes rails and a shelf
1 dresser with 4 large and 2 small drawers
1 desk with two Alex dressers (IKEA, watch the pictures)
1 shelf with multiple shelves
2 Kallax shelf
1 TV cabinet/shelf (with a 43'' TV)
1 quite comfortable and stylish "armchair
1 big mirror

Regarding the deposit, 333€ is the deposit for the room itself. You pay this to me (I paid it to the previous renter). You'll get it back completely when I am coming back.
Since the furniture belongs to me, I would like to have another deposit of 200€ which you will get back at the end, if everything is in order so far, I only do this to be on the safe side, even though I trust you that you are handling my stuff with care.
