Hey hopefully future flatmate – we are Felipe, Angela, Laura and Ian, and we are now looking for fifth next flatmate.
Something important to note about the room is that it is quite dark, with a window only towards a "Lichtschacht".
Once that has been stated clearly we can talk about the rest of the beauty of the flat :)
It is 13 sqm room with a Hochbett built into it. The acoustics inside the room are fantastic, in case you're into making music, and it is really silent inside, which feels very peaceful.
The flat is well equipped. The kitchen is rather large, and we just got a new oven, so you can expect a lot of baked goods coming your way.
The living room is big, we have a beamer to watch movies with. It is a bit of a free-for-all environment where you can invite friends over, have space for any project you want to do, or anything that you'd like. But we do like keeping it a clean environment for that.
The bathroom has a bathtub, a bidet, a sink, a washing machine.. everything you could ever wish for!
The toilet is apart from the bathroom, as it is in most flats in Vienna, which is actually very practical in the morning.
The location is quite ideal, right at the Burggasse. Some people call it the centre of the universe.
It's well connected to the U2, U3, and U6 tube lines but also to the 13A bus.
Lot's of restaurants, supermarkets, cute stores and galleries around us. Really beautiful.
This flat has been passed down from hand to hand for several years and its constellation of people always set the mood of the flat, which we try to keep a peaceful and lovely environment.
Felipe (23), has moved around his whole life, mostly in South America, and is now in Vienna finishing his studies in psychology and psychotherapy. He spends most of his time doing any art project that may come his way, or playing the guitar.
Laura (25) is finishing her studies socio-ecological economics and policy. She has a soft spot for everything that involves Italy, is always up for baking together and sharing good laughs!
Angela (28) is finishing her Masters in Psychology and is also very into dancing, making pizza, and talking about life. She prefers summer over winter.
Ian (26) is our newest addition to the flat. He is finishing his Masters in Global Studies, loves making music and spending time out in nature.
The four of us get along very well. Some of us are vegan or vegetarian, some not really, but we respect each other, we have a cleaning schedule that we try to follow and generally try to keep the flat a nice and cosy environment.
Sometimes it happens that we eat together, sometimes not, there's not such a rule or obligation to do things together. But if we are, time is always worth it.
