I am travelling to my home country for 2 months and therefore I am looking for someone who might be interested in renting my room in a gemütlich WG/shared apartment (with one flatmate) for that time!
It is a cozy, around 10-m2, room with a big bed, sunlight, and a lot of plants (if you want them there, otherwise they can be moved to the living room). It is additionally furnished with an armchair, a dresser, a small table and a clothes rack with an endless amount of hangers.
The room faces towards a small garden and other housing, so even though it's on the ground floor it is generally very nice and quiet.
In addition to the room itself, there is a great shared living space, with a dinner table perfect for studying at, a very comfortable couch, and a well-equipped kitchen, among other things.
The monthly rent of 400 euro is with everything included; WIFI, water, electricity and use of washing machine etc., so no hidden costs there :-)
The flat is situated in a calm smaller apartment block with many families, in a peaceful and very green residential area 5 minutes walk from Turkenschanz Park, 10 minutes walk from BOKU.
Transportation possibilities are also close by, bus 40A can be reached by foot in 3 minutes, and the U-bahn station Nussdorfer Strasse within 15 minutes by foot, just to mention some.
For grocery shopping there's a nice Spar and a Penny within 10-12 minutes by foot, but plenty of other possibilities are also well within reach.
You'll share the flat with a very chill and friendly male student, who is himself from Vienna, and used to (and enjoying) living with a lot of different people and nationalities.
It is quite an independent living household, where you share a few common utilities like toilet paper, cooking oil, dishwashing soap etc., but food and so on is individual. Even though there are no established communal dinners or house meetings, you'll probably often just meet in the kitchen, and have a nice talk or a shared study session in the living room (if you are a student, that is). It is a chill and not very noisy home, we like chatting, and sharing funny stories from our day, but we also have busy student lives so there's also a lot of respect around that sometimes you might just want to hang out in your room alone :-) Generally we just like to be considerate and nice around each other, and have respect for where we each are in our lives.
We're just looking for a nice and friendly person, who could use a great place to live for 2 months - and take good care of it at the same time! If you're that person do not hesitate to contact me (in English if possible, as my German is not that good). Looking forward to hearing from you :-)
