Hey there!
The day has come when we are looking for someone for our 16m2 room in our 100m2 apartment, located in the heart of the 8th district on the Lerchengasse which is a backstreet of the famous Josefstädter Straße. Therefore, starting with February we are looking to find a new family member that would join this beautiful apartment we call home.
Requirements:
Easy going and friendly person with a positive attitude. Cleanliness and hygiene is a must; cooking skills are a plus. :) Unfortunately, this is a smoke-free flat so you have to leave that bad habit at the front door. But that doesn't mean smokers are excluded.
In the end, we are looking for a new member to share our flat with, who is outgoing, fun and shares the same love and respect towards their home as much as we do.
We offer:
A friendly, safe, clean and relaxed environment where we allow and encourage get-togethers, fun activities, whether it’s a movie night, or just a Sunday brunch. There are no real boundaries! That being said, we also respect each other’s' privacy. We are two “normal” (If anyone dears to call himself that :P) down to earth personalities, but you'll just have to come down and meet us to get to know us. Communication in German is obviously possible, but we just chose to post this in English so that everyone can understand it. :)
Facilities:
Spacious kitchen with utilities, good/fresh cofee and of course also a dishwasher.
A toilet and a separate bathroom with a shower/tub. A spacious hallway that compliments the apartment with all the assortment of the newest shoes and a big fridge. A deposit room for cleaning tools, winter clothes and so on. The building shares a laundry room in the basement as well as a deposit space for bikes. The building also has a nice quiet backyard, where you can sit out and smoke if you'd like to. Moreover, the building has recently been renovated and it’s quite top notch.
The room:
It is a proper-sized room, also renovated that has a big window towards the yard ,so it means it is quiet and bright.
Costs: As for the rent itself, the monthly fee is 429 and 145 EUR, additional costs for everything else.This also includes a cleaning lady that comes twice a month and cleanes both the entire apartment and the room. 2 months' rent is the deposit.

The room will be handed over either empty or with furniture, if you wish. It is best if you see it live, the room has a very nice and cozy vibe to it. As said, in the storage room there is a large closet where you can store clothes from another season. Of course, if you want to, you can also repaint the room too or decorate it after your taste.
The lease is set for 12 months and will automatically renew for another year unless you decide to cancel. If you choose to cancel after the initial 12 months, there's an additional 3-month notice period.
