The flat is in a Viennese style old building with an elevator, has parquet floors, a big living-room kitchen with dish washer and everything you need and a bathroom (with bathtub) and washing machine and a separate toilette. Your room has a double bed, closet, a table, wireless internet access- and comes with a big library. It is really bright and has an access to a really cosy balcony. You will be sharing the flat with 3 other really amazing people.
There are a lot of small shops, cafes, bars and clubs around as well as supermarkets banks, bakeries. It is few minutes walking distance to Karmalitermarkt, a great farmers market.
The room is in a shared flat at Taborstrasse in the 2nd district of Vienna minutes away from 2 really big parks- Augarten and Prater and also 7min walking distance to the Danube canal. It is super central only 10minute walk to the 1st district with great transportation connections.
Subway: Taborstrasse U2(3min), Nestroyplatz U1(8min), Schwedenplatz U4(9min)
Tramway: 2
You will be living with 3 other great people!!!
Sofia, Anna and Fabian. Sofia is a 20 years old economics student, although she is young- she is really sweet and clever. Anna, 25 who studies Architecture will not be there so much as she is training with a 49er sailing boat with the Austrian sailing team for the Olympics in Tokyo. We are super proud of her. And Fabi, 28 also studies architecture and will be in Vienna and Salzburg for work and study and visiting hometown. Anna, Fabi and I have lived together for 4,5 years now- and Sofia joined us 2 years ago. We like cooking together- or cooking more than just ourselves- in Summer as everyone is more on their schedule and enjoying time outside the flat, we do that less. We also share the food we buy and not have individual shelves in the fridge- and we like to keep sharing food-
Although we are not super crazy clean, we really clean after ourselves. We had quite a lot of problems with cleaning with previous sublets before, in terms of taking responsibility in the flat- so I am asking, if you stay in my room please to be careful. We also recently put a cleaning schedule- but as people will not be in Vienna all the time I think it will not survive by the time you are there=)
We have a kitchen/living room, one bathroom, and one bedroom. The balcony is in my room- but my doors usually are open until I go to bed- also for everyone to use the balcony. It would be great if the balcony stay accessible.
