We are looking for a room mate! // 16th district, 11m2, free from August 15th 2018 (for one year)
Including you, there would be 4 people living in the apartment. As of now, the other 3 rooms are occupied by one woman and two men between the ages of 26 and 34. We are looking for a female room mate, who is inbetween age-wise.
We are living at Hasnerstraße, which is almost free of cars and very nice for bike riding. The renovated apartment lies on on the mezzanine floor, has 110m2, 4 seperately accessable rooms, a large living room/kitchen (with a dish washer) including a dining table and a sofa, a 20m2 balcony, a seperately accessable toilet and bathroom including a bathtub and a washing machine. The apartment is a non-smoking one but the balcony is an easy solution.
Your room has approximately 11m2, has direct access to the balcony and to the living room. It is with furnished with a bunk bed.
Unfortunately, the apartment is not barrier-free accessible.
Bikes can be put in the courtyard. Also, there is a basement, where you can store stuff.
The rent for your room is 294,20 € per month including electricity, heating (not including internet and GIS (fee for Austrian broadcasting)) – these are approx. 10 € extra per month, also we put 5 € per week in the shared account to buy stuff we all need as a WG). Also there’s a 500 € deposit.
Public transportation goes as follows: The trams 9 and 46 are in the immediate surrounding (3 minute walking distance), trams 44 and 2 are 5-10 minutes away, buses 10A and 48A are also 5-10 minutes away. Subways U3 and U6 can be reached by tram or by 10-15 minutes of walking distance.
There are quite a few supermarkets nearby, Hofer, Billa, Penny, DM. There’s some fast food, especially Döner and a bakery in the immediate surrounding.
As a WG, we are rather quiet and we appreciate room for privacy. Nevertheless, we are not merely a „WG out of convenience“. Every now and then we eat or have a drink together in the communal area or on the balcony. All in all we are quite tidy and have a cleaning schedule, which proposes one changing cleaning activity per week for every person. We would also be happy, if you’d like to join us in making our flat a nice place to live.
We are students and/or work already, we are or have been active in left-wing politics and are engaged in different activities somewhat related to political activities (e.g. student union groups, work against antisemitism and antizionism, progressive media activism).
Finally, we would like to say that we are looking for a person, who is planning to stay in our flat for a longer period of time.
The room is free as of August 15th 2018
We look forward to hearing from you!
