I offer a room with some furniture included (bed, desk, cupboard). On top of that of course you'll have access to the shared parts of the appartment, to a shared storage unit in the cellar and to the laundry room in the building.
The room is available from February 2022, but that might be negociated.
The house is between 3 and 10 minutes walking distance from a variety of public transport connections, and ideally located for commuting to the airport and the Irchel Uni campus.
About me: open minded academic, work fairly long hours and appreciate peace and quiet when home. Sometimes I also have to work from home. I don't often cook myself, but the kitchen is fully functional. I like walking, hiking, lazying about and sharing a beer every now and again.
I prefer clear communication and setting out boundaries from the start.
Subject to availability, you can additionally rent a parking spot in the underground garage for 140 chf a month.
Between the city centre and the airport, near Schwamendingerplatz, Oerlikon station, Uni campus Irchel and Veterinary faculty. There are shopping facilities at Schwamendingerplatz and near Oerlikon station.
Looking for a quiet, employed, non smoking, drug free and LGBT friendly flat mate.
PhD students, postdoc-researchers, weekly commuters, cabin crew or regular business travelers are in favour.
Ideally, I am looking for a flat mate for a longer commitment than just a few months and the most important deal breaker would be smoking (even if just occasionally or 'only outside').
I'm flexible toward the amount of interaction you want: it can be purely business but I'm also open to more interaction, but I do like my quiet time.

- half of bare rent: 725 CHF
- half of cost for water, heating, electricity, etc.: 180 CHF
- half of SERAFE (TV license fee): 15 CHF
