Looking for a room in Zürich April - September

Hi!

My name is Sebastian, I am a 27-year-old guy from Berlin. I'll be staying in Zürich for an internship and I am looking for either a room in a shared flat or a small flat from the beginning of April to the end of September, although I am somewhat flexible in the time span.

A little bit about me: I have lived in Berlin for several years now, at first for my Bachelor and Master’s studies, more recently to obtain a PhD in computational linguistics. Since the day I moved to Berlin, I have been living in shared flats, where I always got along well with my flat mates. I am an easy person to live with: I am neither a super-intensive party-er, nor a super-silent nerd. While being in Zürich, I will be working a lot, but I do like to hang out in the kitchen and have a chat + beer/coffee with my flat mates every once in a while. But I’d accept it if other people want some time on their own.

I am looking for a single-room flat or a room in a shared flat in Zürich or the close area around Zürich. It would be great if there was a good connection to Zürich main station, say 45 min. max. door-to-Zürich-HB. My internship starts in early April and lasts until mid-September, so I would like to rent the room/flat from April 1st to September 30, but it would also work for me if I had to pay rent for one more month in the beginning (March 1st) or if I could only stay until the end of August. I am aware of the high rents in Zürich and will be able to cope with that.

My 24 m^2 room in Berlin is available for the time April to August, so if you would like to do a room exchange, I would be happy to discuss that option as well. If you are not interested in this, just skip this paragraph :) My flat is situated in Berlin-Neukölln, a vivid neighborhood with lots of cafes, bars and young people from all over Europe. The flat has metro stops (Rathaus Neukölln, Hermannplatz) nearby, which, for example, connect you to Alexanderplatz in about 15 min. There is also a bus stop just around the corner, which you could use to go to Berlin main station in 30 minutes. I share the flat with a 27-year-old guy, he is open-minded, working full-time as a kind of soon-to-be lawyer, but has still retained a student-like way of living. Friedrich likes to go out on the weekends but also accepts it if one has to get to bed early during weekdays.
