Young Professional sucht nette WG in Zürich / Young Professional is looking for a nice WG in Zürich

Hallo zusammen,

ich bin Melanie, bin letzte Woche 31 Jahre alt geworden und komme ursprünglich aus dem Allgäu im Süden von Deutschland. Ich habe aber auch schon in Mombasa (Kenia), Bayreuth, Frankfurt, München und Paris gelebt. Ich habe Sozialanthropologie in Bayreuth und Law and Economics in Paris studiert und nach dem Studium als Consultant im Compliance-Bereich gearbeitet. Am 1. November trete ich eine neue Stelle als Compliance Officer bei einer Bank in Zürich an. Deshalb bin ich nun auf der Suche nach einem Zimmer in einer netten WG in Zürich.

Es würde mir auch nichts ausmachen, wenn das Zimmer zur Zwischenmiete wäre, weil es glaube ich einfacher ist eine permanente WG oder Wohnung zu finden, wenn ich bereits in Zürich lebe. Ich habe seit dem Beginn meines Studiums fast durchgehend in WGs gelebt, bringe also schon eine Menge WG-Erfahrung mit. Ich würde mich als eine unkomplizierte und hilfsbereite Mitbewohnerin, die sich über gemeinsame Aktivitäten in der WG freut, aber auch ihr eigenes Leben führt, beschreiben. Ich spreche Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch, Portugiesisch, Spanisch und Swahili, habe Freunde auf der ganzen Welt und bin schon in einige Länder gereist. Die WG kann also gerne international sein :)

In meiner Freizeit bin ich gerne unterwegs, da ich es liebe zu reisen und neue Orte zu erkunden. Dies verbinde ich meist mit meinem anderen Lieblingshobby, dem Fotografieren. Außerdem interessiere ich mich für Mode, mache gerne Sport - im Fitness Center oder auch zuhause - verbringe gerne Zeit in der Natur, und koche gerne frisch. Ich bin ein eher geselliger Mensch und treffe mich gerne mit Freunden zu verschiedenen Aktivitäten. Natürlich verbringe ich aber auch gerne mal einen Abend mit Netflix auf der Couch.

Hello everyone,

I'm Melanie and I just turned 31 years old last week. I originally come from the Allgaue region of southern Germany, but I've lived in Mombasa (Kenya), Bayreuth, Frankfurt, Munich and Paris as well. I studied social anthropology in Bayreuth and, law & economics in Paris. After my studies, I started to work as a consultant in the field of compliance. As I will start my new job as a compliance officer with a Swiss bank soon, I will move to Zurich in November.

Therefore, I'm looking for a room in a nice "WG" in Zurich from November 1, 2021. I wouldn't mind if the room was only free for a limited period of time because I'm aware that it will be much easier to find a permanent room or apartment once I actually live in Zurich. As I've lived in shared apartments since starting my studies at university, I've a lot of experience with WG-life. I'd describe myself as an easygoing and supportive flatmate, who is happy about activities with her flatmates, but also has her own life. I speak English, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Swahili, have friends from all over the world and have visited many countreis - so an international "WG" would be amazing :)

I've two big passions: Travel and photography. Therefore, I spend a lot of my free time exploring new places and taking photos. Moreover, I'm interested in fashion and love working out (at the gym or at home), spending time in nature and cooking fresh food. I love socializing with other people and meeting my friends for different activities. However, I sometimes enjoy relaxing on the couch and watching Netflix as well.
