We have the Master bedroom in our beautiful “Altbau” apartment in Berlin Mitte/Wedding is for sublet. The apartment has two large bedrooms,
Pete, a co.owner of the place and a friendly American social entrepreneur from New York lives for two months in the small bedroom.
There is a a large and sunny living room that merges into a brand new open kitchen. There is a bathroom with a bathtub, all renovated.
We purchased the apartment, but won’t be needing it quite yet as we are still living abroad for at least another year. Pete is only temporarily in Berlin till end 2017. We will be renting the place afterwards.
The apartment is furnished with Ikea beds and basics and charming berlin style accesoires, so it is a fully loveable space, nicely furnished. Yet, no personal clutters of the subletters around.
The apartment includes WIFI, electricity, water all included in the price, no further costs.
The house dates from 1920 and has the typical characteristics of the time (stucco in the entrance of the house etc.) There is a backyard communal garden with a BBQ area, that can be used to sit, play (sandbox is there as well) The apartment is in the so called back house, which means it is quiet, despite its central location right on the U/M-Bahnhof SEESTRASSE (U 6), and only 4 minutes walking from LEOPOLDPLATZ, where you can take both, U6 and U 8.
The apartment is in the so called “Sprengelkiez” -The area is what Neukoelln and Kreuzberg used to be: an up and coming, neighborhood, full of playgrounds, Turkish grocery stores, an arty vibe and small emerging theaters, more and more families moving there, cool restaurants and more and more coffee places - the real Berlin! The “Humboldhain” park is just a few minutes walking away, and in less than 10 minutes by bike you are at the Ploetzensee.
