Heeei there :) I have been studying this year in Mannheim but I am leaving now (it was an exchange). I will leave at the end of June, but my contract is until August. Therefore, I'd need someone to occupy my place and pay the rent for these two months. From september on the room is no longer free (though there might be other rooms available).
ADH is a residence :) every flat has 28 individual rooms, and we share toilets, showers, the kitchen and the living room. Every two days these common spaces are cleaned :) Furthermore, there are enough showers, toilets and the kitchen is enough big so that you never have to wait.
The room is 12 quadrate meter, furnished with everything you need :) Big desk, bed, shelves, wardrobe and a bathtub. There is also internet connection.

It's placed in the very city centre, in the Quadrate. The block (D6) is just 5 to 10 minutes away from the University (the Schloss) and it's really close to tram connection (Rathaus stop, lines 2 and 6). It's also close to Paradeplatz and Marktplatz (5 minutes away). There are two supermarkets two minutes away (Aldi and Netto).
The best thing about living here is the people! Most of them are german students, and really open and nice :) there is normally people in the living room, and they are often up to doing things together :) During the summer it's a little more empty than usual, as some people go back home :) However, there's some people staying :)
