Summer Sublet in Creative Campus

We are subletting our apartment for the summer, as we will be traveling to the US to go on a roadtrip on the west coast. We are very at home in this unique place in Berlin, full of creatives and hope to find somebody who is equally drawn to this unique community.

Available from July 11th til September 30th

The space is a total of 42qm with two large rooms and high ceilings of 3,3m. The first room has a small entry area, over which is a lofted single bed, then a couch area 'living room' and finally by the window is a large table with enough room for two people to have desk space. The apartment also has WLAN (WIFI) included. In the second room you have a complete kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, sink, and dishes. There is a separate toothbrushing sink. The shower, toilet and washingmachine (100 square feet) are all across the hallway from the apartment and are shared only with one other couple. Finally by the big window in the second room is a sleeping area / bedroom, with plenty of closet space and a queen sized bed. There are two closets to store your belongings. The apartment can comfortably sleep three people (one couple, one single) and the couch is also a pull out bed for another two, totaling 5 people during your peak hosting times. The apartment is bright as it is on the 3rd (american 4th) floor but it is never overheated due to direct sunlight as it is on the north side.

The building, Haus II, has become a very creative and international community of musicians and other artists in North Prenzlauerberg and is in the same courtyard as the artistic residency project, 'HomeBase Project in Berlin' and a second hand shop with all your clothing, kitsch and household needs. When the musicians are not rehearsing with their windows open, it is very quiet place, being removed from the street. The front courtyard has a vegetable garden, a pavilion for multi-usage and some parking spaces. The back courtyard is full of sunlight, has more community gardens and a fire pit.
