Mein Zimmer ist 25 qm groß, gemütlich und hell. Ich wohne seit über drei Jahren hier und habe es mir soweit wohnlich gemacht. Es gibt alles was du brauchst, vor allem viel Platz. Es gibt viele Pflanzen, aber die schaffen es auch mit eine*r Bewohner*in ohne grünen Daumen. Die Fotos sind aus unterschiedlichen Jahren, bitte keine Verwirrung ;-)
Die Wohnung liegt im 4. OG und hat zwei Zimmer, eine Küche und ein Bad. Es gibt unten auch noch einen Garten mit Grill und so weiter, den alle Mitbewohner*innen des Hauses nutzen können.
My room is 25 sqm big, bright and cozy. I'm living here since more than three years and have made myself comfortable so far. There's everything you need, especially plenty of space. There are many plants, but they shall survive even if you are not so good in gardening. I've changed the arrangement of the furniture some times, so don't be confused when you see the pictures ;-)
The apartment is located on the 4th floor and has two rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. There is also a garden with a barbecue and so on, which all tenants of the house can use.
Wir wohnen am Ende der Südvorstadt an der Kreuzung von der Karli und der Kurt-Eisner-Straße.
Die ist zwar ziemlich groß, aber man hört wirklich nicht viel davon, da die Wohnung im 4. Stock liegt.
Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke, der Bus fährt vor der Tür ab und die Straßenbahn ist auch nur ein paar Schritte entfernt, sehr praktisch!!! Du bist schnell in der Innenstadt, an der Uni, aber auch im Park und am See.
We live in the South of the city centre at the intersection of Karli and Kurt-Eisner-Straße.
It's quite busy , but you really don't hear much of the noise, because the apartment is on the 4th floor.
Some supermarkets arejust around the corner, the bus stops in front of the door and the tram stop is also just a few steps away, very convenient!!! You are quickly in the city centre, at the university, but also in the park and at the lake.
Wir, Alea und Kathrin (ich), wohnen hier zu zweit seit letztem Oktober zusammen.
Ich studiere in Leipzig seit Ewigkeiten Kommunikationswissenschaft und verschwinde nochmal für einige Monate nach Ghana. Alea (25) studiert Lateinamerikanistik und Gender Studies und schreibt gerade ihre Masterarbeit. Sie ist kaffeesüchtige Vegetarierin, macht gerne Yoga und lange Spaziergänge oder hört feministischer Podcasts. Wenn nicht gerade Pandemie ist, reist sie gerne, geht ins Theater, trifft sich mit Freund*innen in gemütlichen Kneipen oder tanzt sich bei Balkan-Beats-Partys die Füße wund.
Wir sind offen für alle und freuen uns, wenn jemand das Zimmer mit Leben erfüllt, wenn ich unterwegs bin.

We, Alea and Kathrin (me), are living here together since last October.
I have been studying communication science in Leipzig for quiet some time and will disappear to Ghana again for a few months. Alea (25) is studying Latin American Studies and Gender Studies and is currently writing her master thesis. She is a coffee-addicted vegetarian, likes yoga and long walks or listens to feminist podcasts. When we don't live in a time of a pandemic, she likes to travel, go to the theatre, meet up with friends in cosy pubs or dance her feet sore at Balkan beats parties.
We are open to everyone and look forward to someone who will keep the place lively whiles I will be on the road. We speak against racism, sexism, anti-semitism and all forms of discrimination and expect it from you too!
Meld dich einfach bei uns und dann könnten wir zum Beispiel coronatechnisch zusammen auf den wunderschönen Fockeberg laufen, um uns kennenzulernen und vorher nochmal kurz bei uns in die Wohnung schauen. Ansonsten können wir auch gerne skypen, Alea und ich sind da flexibel ;-)
Just contact us and then we could due to corona, for example, walk together to the beautiful Fockeberg to get to know each other and have a look at the apartment before. Otherwise we couls also skype, Alea and I are flexible ;-)
