Hello there! I rent a bright room with view of the city and the hills.
You can have it furnished (with a large bed, mattress, table and wardrobe) or unfurnished.
The room is quiet, no noises from the street.
Das Haus steht in einem kleinen Villenviertel mit netten Nachbarn, 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß von Innenstadt, Paradies-Park und Paradies-Bahnhof entfernt, in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Kernbergen.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht allzu weit entfernt.
Wir haben einen gemeinsam genutzten Garten.

Situated in a nice little neighborhood with villas from the begin of 20th century...
Very short ways (by feet or bike) to the city center, the Paradies Park, the train station.
There is even a bus stop next to the house.
We have also a garden in front of the house that we share with everyone living here. (= sympathetic people in theirs 40th, some with little children).
Wir arbeiten und promovieren, sind befreundet und keine typische Studenten-WG mehr.
Mein Mitbewohner (Physiker/Patentrechtsanwalt) ist nur 1x/Woche da, weil er zum Arbeiten zwischen Jena und Berlin pendelt. Somit handelt es sich faktisch um eine 2er-WG und ist entsprechend ruhig.
Momentan arbeite ich von zu Hause aus.
Wir interessieren uns für Philosophie, Gesellschaftsthemen, Kunst und sitzen gern zusammen, wenn es paßt.
Berufspendler, Wissenschaftler, Promovierende sind herzlich willkommen...

It's no young students shared flat. I'm subrenting rooms in my flat. We are working or doing a phD.
I'm working from home, my current flatmate comes 1 times a week to Jena (but is living in Berlin).
I really like to sit together and talk, or cook or have a glass of wine if we come together. (It's not just a "functional WG", but a friendship-like one).
