Hey liebe WG-Suchende,
Hello,
From March on we will have a free good-sized 12m2 room with a garden view in our small three-person flat-share. The apartment is in a student hall of residence in Charlottenburg - unfortunately only students and PhD candidates who are enrolled at a Berlin university can live here. The apartment is 56m2, the rent for the room is 270 Euro all inclusive (electricity, utilities, internet, broadcasting fees) and we are about 10 min walk from the Ringbahn station Westend. So far the hard facts : )
We, Nina (26) and Jule (22), both study and are politically active, like contemporary (and other) dance and spending time in nature. We would like a certain critique of power relations and forms of domination to be the common ground for our convivence; we try to understand our own needs and relate them to the ones of the others, and share care responsabilities. We would like to live in a space where personal interests, attitudes and ways of life are respected and tolerated, where problems are communicated to each other in an appreciative way, and where we can feel comfortable and disconnect from everyday life. We try to live together quite collectively. We often cook for each other at lunchtime (vegan) and eat together, drink tea or wine in the evening and share what moves us at the moment, watch a movie or a lecture together, play games and and laugh a lot together. Therefore, we would be happy if you would also be interested in living together on collective and long-term basis. Nevertheless, we often need time for ourselves and it has always been okay when the doors are closed.
We are open to forms of living together in solidarity and are still experimenting with how this can look concretely. We often buy food at a small alternative organic grocery store nearby or save food and have a common (solidarity) household fund that you are welcome to participate in if you like to. So far we have a cleaning plan, but we can imagine to try out how it goes with more open arrangements, if everyone feels responsible and there is just room for so many processes.
We would like the apartment to remain non-smoking, and it would help us a lot to feel comfortable if our kitchen remained meat-free.
As for Corona, we have so far always had processes about the current situation and developments, but try to keep the risk of contagion as low as possible. Again, we would like to communicate a lot :)
If you find yourself in our text, feel free to write us something about yourself. Please write "solidarisches Wohnen" in the subject line.Within the next few weeks we can meet online, have a digital apartment tour and get to know each other, and if it fits, we can meet in person to show the apartment shortly with a face mask.
We are looking forward to getting to know you!
Best,
Nina and Jule
