Due to the pandemic I am currently not in Berlin, so my room will be up for rent from 1 June till the end of August 2021 with the possibility of an extended stay.
The 14m2 room is fully furnished, has two big windows with a backyard view, a new couch, a loft bed with a comfortable (140x200) mattress, a work desk with a comfy chair and enough storage for your clothes etc.
The kitchen has pretty much every kitchen utensil you could need, a big new fridge and dishwasher and a collection of recipe books for foodies.
The bathroom has a bathtub, a washing machine and plenty of space to hang your towels.
To get to the balcony, you would have to go through one of my roommates' rooms but since one of them is often absent during the day, you could still use it.
The flat is located on a calm street in Friedrichshain, a 5 min walk to the subway station Samariterstraße, from where you'll be at Alexanderplatz in 7 min. A 10 min walk in the other direction will get you to the Ringbahn/S-Bahn station Storkower Straße. Only a few blocks away are Lidl, Rewe, Edeka, the post office, pharmacy, whereas the choice of delicious cafés and restaurants in the vicinity is pretty much endless.
The nearby Warschauerstraße also offers plenty of hip party locations.
As of right now my roommate Christoph is the only person living in the flat, but you would probably shortly be joined by another roommate once the other available room is cleared out by the previous tenant. Christoph is super helpful, respectful and very easy to talk to. :) He's working outside of Berlin at the moment, so he would be away during the week.
We're looking for someone who is considerate, open minded, clean and most of all - will maintain the room in the more or less same condition as it was handed over. We welcome people of all gender identities, sexual orientations and skin colors.
IMPORTANT: A residential registration is not possible at the moment.
