The room is bright, facing westwards, on the 1st floor.
It will be rented out empty, without the furniture you can still see on the pictures (for details: see section "Sonstiges").
While each of us will have their own room, we'll share a large common living room (ca. 20 sqm) with a balcony facing a green courtyard, the kitchen and the bathroom (plus some storage space in the basement).
The flat is located in the quiet northern part of Friedrichshain. In 5-10 minutes walking distance, you can reach the beautiful park “Volkspark Friedrichshain”, cafés, cinemas, sports facilities, …
Excellent public transport connection, especially to Alexanderplatz (8 min. ride): The closest public transport stop is just a 4-minute walk away (M5, M6, M8, M10), the U5 (Weberwiese) ca. 8 minutes, and you can reach the Ringbahn (S41/S42) after just one stop.
I have already lived in the flat for over 3 years and would now like to turn it into a shared flat (after my ex-boyfriend moved out). Sure it's a change - yet it shouldn't be too hard to reconnect to almost a decade of shared flats in various countries :-).
The living room and balcony offer various opportunities for spending time together, yet each of us also has her/his own space!
I'm a very social and communicative person, and a respectful and trustful atmosphere is very important to me.
I am looking for a flatmate who has a job, a sense of responsibility and cares about the flat, too.
I am looking for someone interested in a long-term rental (min. 1 year).
For the first few months, the room can be rented with some furniture, if you wish so. Once my ex-boyfriend has a permanent new flat (latest April), he will take along these pieces of furniture, as well as some others (e.g. washing machine, fridge, some living room furniture).
This implies two things: We'll have the great chance to shape some of the flat together :-). And: You will need to be ready to contribute something to the equipment of the flat (making own furniture available and/or contributing to necessary purchases).
The indicated fees are calculated with a little buffer, so the actual monthly rent is likely to be ca. 40 € lower. I can explain details by e-mail.
Please contact me by e-mail (German or English) and tell me about yourself - why are you searching for a shared flat, and what is important for you about co-living? What are you doing for a living, and for fun :-)? Anything you would you like to know about me?
And even though there are obviously heaps of business experts, bankers, brokers etc. looking for a flat, I would also like to strongly encourage people who are working in the NGO sector (like myself) to contact me ... :-).
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
