Die Wohnung liegt im Flughafenkiez, zentral in Neukölln. Viele Einkaufsmöglichsmöglichkeiten, nette Cafés und Bars sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Parks wie das Tempelhofer Feld und Hasenheide sind nicht weit entfernt, ebenso das rege Nachtleben der Weserstraße, der Schillerkiez und selbst nach Rixdorf ist es nicht weit.

Die Verkehrsanbindung ist bestens, es sind weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur U8 Boddinstraße (längste Berliner Nord-Süd Verbindung, 12 Minuten bis zum Alexanderplatz) und der U7 Rathaus Neukölln (längste Ost-West-Verbindung, 2 Stationen bis zur Ringbahn).

The appartment is situated in the heart of Neukölln. There is a mall and many small shops directly around the corner, cafés and bars all around. Parks and open spaces like the Tempelhofer Feld and Hasenheide are only a few minutes walk away and so are the Weserstraße, the Schillerkiez and even cute old Rixdorf.

All of big Berlin is easily accessible from our place. It is right between the underground lines U8 (longest north-south line, only 12 minutes to Alexanderplatz) and U7 (longest east-west-line, only two stops to the Ringbahn) - each are less then five minutes away on foot.

Entscheidend ist es, eine ähnliche Vorstellung vom Zusammenleben teilen. Um das herauszufinden, stellen wir uns hier kurz vor:

Wir sind ein Paar und als Freiberufler*innen im Kulturbereich viel unterwegs, so dass unsere Mitbewohnerin die Wohnung oft auch tagelang für sich allein hat. Unsere Wohnung ist für uns in einer trubeligen Stadt und einem trubeligen Leben vor allem ein Ruhepol, an dem wir uns erholen. Wenn wir da sind, sind wir eher häuslich.

Mit unserer zukünftigen Mitbewohnerin wünschen wir uns eine freundschaftiche Verbindung, für das reine Nebeneinander einer Zweck-WG sind wir nicht gemacht. Wir stellen uns nette Gespräche vor bei einem gemeinsamen Abendessen oder Sonntagsfrühstück auf dem Balkon, mal einen Spiele- oder einen Filmabend.

Im Zusammenleben hängen wir ganz allgemein und besonders zu Hause der Philosophie und Praxis der Rücksichtnahme an. Das heißt, wir stellen uns lieber auf die Bedürfnisse anderer ein, als dass wir uns die Freiheit wünschen, uns keine Gedanken machen zu müssen. Dazu gehört auch, dass wir Küche und Bad sehr sauber halten. Wir hätten das früher nicht gedacht, aber die Erfahrung zeigt: Wir scheinen in den pingeligen Bereich des Spektrums zu gehören.

Ansonsten sind wir umgänglich, offen, zugewandt und verbindlich. Wir sind politisch sozial und tolerant, pragmatisch umweltbewusst, machen uns Gedanken zur Welt und den Menschen, tauschen uns gerne aus und wertschätzen die Bereicherungen, die andere in unser Leben bringen.

It is crucial to share a similar idea of how to live together in a common living space. To find out, let's introduce ourselves briefly:

We are a couple and as freelancers in the cultural sector we travel a lot, so our flatmate often has the flat to herself for a couple of days. In a bustling city and a bustling life, our flat is above all a haven of peace where we can relax.

We are not made for the mere coexistence of a Zweck-WG. So we are hoping for a friendship with our future flatmate and imagining conversations over a joint dinner or Sunday breakfast on the balcony, an occasional games night or a film evening.

In social life in general and especially in living together at our home we adhere to the philosophy and practice of consideration. This means that we prefer to adjust to the needs of others, rather than wanting the freedom of not having to worry about them. This includes keeping our kitchen and bathroom very clean. We wouldn't have thought so in the past, but experience shows: We seem to belong in the scrupulous and fussy end of the spectrum.

Otherwise, we are sociable, open, approachable and obliging. We are politically social and tolerant, pragmatically environmentally aware, concerned about the world and people, like to exchange ideas and value the enrichment that others bring to our lives.

Unsere Wohnung ist sehr grün - nicht nur die Wände unseres schönsten Zimmers. Wir hoffen, dass unsere neue Mitbewohnerin sich mit Pflanzen wohlfühlt und ihnen (auch in unserer Abwesenheit) gute, pflegende Gesellschaft leistet.

Letzter Hinweis: Wir sind mit diesem Haushalt von der GEZ befreit. Die wird also bei offizieller Anmeldung ihre üblichen Gebühren von unserer Mitbewohnerin fordern.

Our appartment is a green oasis - not only the available room with its green walls. We hope for a flat mate that loves plants as much as we do and will enjoy living with them and taking care of them (in our absence).

Last note: With this household, we are exempt from the GEZ. So they will demand their usual fees from you when you officially register.
