Untervermietung ab 1.1 in Jena am Paradiespark

Unweit vom Paradies-Park und UVZ (5 min zu Fuß) befindet sich in einer Seitenstraße ein Mehrfamilienhaus. Insgesamt gibt es drei Etagen, mit jeweils einer WG pro Etage. Unsere WG befindet sich im Erdgeschoss, ist aber nicht barrierefrei.
Zu der Wohnung gehört auch die Gemeinschaftsnutzung des Gartens und der Terrasse, wo sich alle Hausbewohner auch mal abends versammeln und gemeinsam grillen und ein kühles Getränk genießen. Es gibt auch einen Schuppen, wo dein Fahrrad abgestellt werden kann.
Einen Stellplatz vor dem Haus kann fest gemietet werden (30€/ Monat) oder man hofft auf freie Parkplätze in der Nähe.

Zur Straßenbahnhaltestelle Mühlenstraße sind es 2 min, zu Fuß ins Stadtzentrum braucht man nicht mal 15 min. Mit der Straßenbahn ist man in 5 min im Stadtzentrum.
Der Westbahnhof und Paradiesbahnhof sind beide auch in 10-15 min zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Und falls man mal eine Abkühlung im Sommer braucht, dann ist der Schleichersee auch direkt in der Nähe.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Winzerla (Lidl, Rewe, Aldi) oder im Stadtzentrum.
Falls du an der EAH studierst, musst du nur die Mühlenstraße hochlaufen und in nicht mal 15 min bist du auch dort am Campus.

Not far from Paradies-Park and UVZ (5 min walk) there is an apartment building in a side street. There are three floors in total, with one shared flat on each floor. Our shared flat is on the first floor, but is not barrier-free.
The apartment also has shared use of the garden and terrace, where all the residents sometimes gather in the evenings to barbecue and enjoy a cool drink together. There is also a shed where you can store your bicycle.
A parking space in front of the house can be rented (€30/month) or you can hope for free parking nearby.

The Mühlenstraße streetcar stop is 2 minutes away and it takes less than 15 minutes to walk to the city center. 5 minutes by streetcar to the city center.
The Westbahnhof and Paradiesbahnhof stations are also both a 10-15 minute walk away.

And if you need to cool off in summer, the Schleichersee lake is also close by.
There are shopping facilities in Winzerla (Lidl, Rewe, Aldi) or in the city center.
If you're studying at the EAH, you only have to walk up Mühlenstraße and you'll be on campus in less than 15 minutes.

Zurzeit besteht die WG aus mir und zwei weiteren Frauen Sabrina und Nadia.
Sabrina wohnt schon seit sehr Langem in der WG. Sie ist Studentin an der FSU und arbeitet nebenbei in einer Schule und im Restaurant. Meine zweite Mitbewohnerin ist Nadia, sie kommt aus Italien und macht gerade ihren Postdoc in Jena.
Ich finde es total spannend mit den beiden zu leben, da sie sehr unterschiedlich sind. Nadia ist eher ruhig und verbringt ihren Abend gerne mit einem schönen Film. Sabrina hingegen ist viel unter Menschen und sehr aktiv.
Beide sind super lieb, wodurch sich ein tolles und abwechslungsreiches WG-Leben ergibt.
Im Allgemeinen sind wir keine Zweck-WG und unternehmen auch gerne mal etwas gemeinsam: egal ob Spieleabend, gemeinsames Grillen im Park oder auf der Terrasse. Wir sind viel unterwegs, quatschen gern mal abends und oder machen Sport.

Ab Januar mach ich ein Auslandssemester in Schweden, wodurch das Zimmer für ein halbes Jahr zur Verfügung steht.
Das Zimmer ist möbliert.

The flat share currently consists of me and two other women, Sabrina and Nadia.
Sabrina has been living in the shared flat for a very long time. She is a student at FSU and works part-time at a school and in a restaurant. My second flatmate is Nadia, she comes from Italy and is currently doing her postdoc in Jena.
I find it really exciting to live with the two of them, as they are very different. Nadia is rather quiet and likes to spend her evenings watching a good movie. Sabrina, on the other hand, spends a lot of time with people and is very active.
Both are super sweet, which makes for a great and varied shared flat life.
In general, we are not a functional flat share and like to do things together: whether it's a games evening, a barbecue in the park or on the terrace. We are out and about a lot, like to chat in the evenings and do sports.
More about us in person, of course :)

I will be spending a semester abroad in Sweden from January, so the room will be available for six months.
The room is furnished.

Du solltest gesellig, ordentlich und offen sein. Alles weitere kommt mit der Zeit. Beim putzen wechseln wir uns ab, da ist jeder mal dran ;)

Vorteil der WG ist auch, dass wir eine Wäsche-Kammer haben und die Wäsche nicht in der Wohnung herumsteht und zusätzlich noch Stauraum haben in der Abstellkammer.

Fahrräder können im Schuppen untergebracht werden.

You should be sociable, tidy and open. Everything else will come with time. We take turns cleaning, so everyone gets a turn ;)

Another advantage of the shared flat is that we have a laundry room and the laundry is not standing around in the apartment and we also have storage space in the storeroom.

Bicycles can be stored in the shed.
