Gemütliche WG in Jena West sucht Zwischenmiete vom 01.03. bis Ende Juni/Juli *ENGLISH BELOW*

Die Wohnung liegt in der Verlängerung der Wagnergasse, was im Zentrum von Jena liegt. Du bist in 5 Minuten mitten im Kneipenleben und am Campus, aber wohnst trotzdem in einer ruhigen Straße mit wenig Verkehr. Die Hausgemeinschaft ist sehr entspannt und es gibt einen großen Garten, der von uns mitbenutzt werden kann.

In der WG leben Johann, Eva, Erza und Fulko. Manche studieren im Bachelor, manche im Master: von Soziologie und Politikwissenschaft über Medizin bis Philosophie und Germanistik ist alles dabei. Alle sind viel aktiv: Sei es in politischen Gruppen, der Unizeitung, am Gärtnern, beim Musizieren, im Theater oder anderen kreativen Aktivitäten. Zu einem entspannten Tag zu Hause wird aber auch nicht nein gesagt. Sich füreinander Zeit nehmen ist allen wichtig und es werden auch gerne längere Abende zusammen in der großen und gemütlichen Küche verbracht. Es ist aber auch immer Raum dafür - zum Beispiel in einer stressigen Klausurenphase - sich zurückzuziehen. Das Kochen ist sehr entspannt, da Lebensmittel und co. geteilt werden.

Dass sich alle wohl fühlen ist Priorität und deswegen ist allen eine offene Kommunikation wichtig. Es wird probiert Entscheidungen gemeinschaftlich zu treffen und aufeinander zu achten.
Meine Mitbewohnis freuen sich auf eine aufgeschlossene Person, die Lust hat für die nächsten Monate Teil des WG-Lebens zu werden und es mitzugestalten. Zum Beispiel mit gemeinsamen Unternehmungen und Aktivitäten oder auch einem entspannten Sonntagsfrühstück. Es wird auch gerne gemeinsam über gesellschaftspolitische Themen diskutiert und allen ist es deshalb wichtig, Diskriminierungsformen zu reflektieren und dementsprechend einen wertschätzenden Umgang miteinander zu pflegen. Putzpläne und eine Geschirrspülmaschine helfen dabei die Wohnung schön sauber und ordentlich zu halten. Haustiere können leider nicht einziehen.

Ich probiere dir möglichst schnell zu antworten. Wenn wir das Gefühl haben, dass du gut in die WG passen könntest, würden wir gerne ein erstes Kennenlernen in Präsenz hier in Jena oder über Zoom machen.

Sublease/Intermediate rent from March 1st to the end of June/July

Room

The room is about 16m² big, facing northeast and has two skylights through which you have a nice view of the sky. All of the furniture would stay in the room, but I would clear out the dressers etc so there would be storage space for your things. If you have furniture you need to store, we have a room where there is some but limited storage space.

Location

The apartment is located in the extension of the Wagnergasse, which is in the center of Jena. It takes only 5 minutes by foot to reach the campus and most of the pub life in Jena. But you would still live in a quiet street with little traffic. The house community is very relaxed and there is a large garden which we can also use.

Life in the apartment

Johann, Eva, Erza and Fulko live in the apartment. Some are studying for their bachelor's degree, some for their master's: their respective study fields ranging from sociology and political science to medicine, philosophy and German language and literature. All of them are very active: be it in political groups, the university newspaper, gardening, making music, theater or other creative activities. But they also don't say no to a relaxing day at home. Taking time for each other is important to everyone and they also like to spend long evenings together in the large and cozy kitchen. But there is also always room to take time for oneself, for example during a stressful exam period. The cooking situation is very relaxed because all of the food is shared.

That everyone feels comfortable is a priority and therefore open communication is important to everyone. We try to make decisions together and take care of each other.
My flatmates are looking forward to meet an open-minded person who wants to be part of the flat-sharing life for the next few months and help shape it. For example, with joint ventures and activities or even a relaxed Sunday breakfast. We also like to discuss socio-political topics together and it is therefore important to everyone to reflect on forms of discrimination and to accordingly cultivate an appreciative way of dealing with each other. Cleaning schedules and a dishwasher help to keep the apartment nice and clean. Unfortunately, pets cannot move in...
