I am Lore, and I am leaving my room for 4 months because I am leaving on a trip to South America, where I am from.
My room is about 23/25m2, I am not quite sure, but it's definitely big and spacious. You'll have a nice cosy vibe to come home to, a big desk if u work or study from home. A big bed and a big closet that I will clear up for you.
You won't need to bring any bedsheets or towels, of course you are welcome to use everything we have here in the apartment.
Our flat is quite big, we have a living room where we have hosted concerts, film nights and good parties, you can also relax in the balcony that faces the back side of the building so very quiet and chill there.
The kitchen is nice and spacious also ideal for cooking evenings with WG n friends!
The east of Leipzig is a fun and active place, there is always something to do. We live close to the Eisenbahnstr. which is full of restaurants, cafés and bars. We are well-connected to the city with various tram options, all at walking distance from us. around our place you'll find at least 3 supermarkets or even more, also super nice is to live close to several parks
We are a young and relaxed WG of 3 female friends, we all love music and try to create spaces to hear and share music with others and between us. There are guitars, piano, ukulele and a lot more instruments in the house in case you're a musical person too, you'll love it here. We are all very calmed people, we do not party much and enjoy a lot more to cook and eat together, have a glass of wine, chilling abuela style!
We share all of our food and keep track of our expenses with an App. We don't really have a cleaning schedule because we all take care of the communal spaces and we all care for the flat. Everyone has a different schedule, but we try to share meals, get together and cook something tasty, eat outside in the balcony when the weather is nice, have a good talk with coffee or just watch movies together. Even tho we all respect each other's personal space, if you're the "closed doors all the time n I stay in my room 24/7" kinda person, this will probably not be the right place!
Your future roommates are:
Juli (31) is a barista at a nice Café and works a few days a week there, she also plays the piano, accordion and keytar (wonder what that is?). She also plays and sings in a band, loves music and is a very chilled person. Always open for a nice talk and brunching with you ;)
Ani (28) is a contrabass player and psychologist, she is finishing her master and going to start working on her thesis, she will be a lot at the bib but also spends a lot of time here at the house and is also always there for nice talks and good company
Peachy (11) is the queen of the house, an old lady, who loves boxes n cuddles and be around people. She's a very calmed cat and usually just gets excited to get a nice treat here n there.
It is very important for me that you LOVE cats. If you are allergic, this might not be the place for you. Peach is used to being allowed everywhere in the flat, that of course includes my/your room.
Also, it would be nice if you like plants, since I am leaving for so long, I would like the person who lives here to look after my plants
