WG-Zimmer in der Kolonnadenstraße

"Wenn ich nach Leipzig ziehen würde, dann nur wegen der Kolonnadenstraße." - eine Freundin einer Freundin.

Mehr muss mensch dazu eigentlich nicht sagen. Das Leben auf der Kolonnadenstraße ist sehr entspannt. Wir wohnen direkt über dem Stoned, einer Kneipe, haben Cafés, Späti, einen Fahrradladen und Buchladen nebenan (und auch noch mehr, aber verschaff dir einfach selbst einen Eindruck). Die Straße ist wirklich ein Kleinod mitten im Zentrum und hat ein sehr charmantes Eigenleben, bei dem sich eigentlich zu egal welcher Jahreszeit Leute auf den Bordsteinen und in den Hauseingängen zuprosten, unterhalten und Musik machen (klar, dass das wegen Corona manchmal nur mental stattfindet).

You probably don't have to know more. Life on Kolonnadenstraße is easy going. We live directly above a bar (the Stoned), have several cafés, a Späti, a bike shop and a book shop (and more but have a look yourself). The street is a gem in the middle of the city where people always spend time together sitting in the house entrances, chatting, making music, simply having a good time.

In der WG wohnen dann mit dir zusammen Clara und Leo und Maxime.

Clara (sie/ihr), wohnt in ihrer kleinen aber sehr geschmackvollen Höhle und studiert Außerschulische Kunstpädagogik. "ich würde sagen ich bin schon manchmal so bisschen verpeilt", aber sobald ein Projekt ansteht, ist sie all in und sprüht vor Tatendrang. Sie ist durch und durch Ästhetin und sucht auf Ebay Kleinanzeigen ständig nach neuen Schätzen für unsere WG.

Leo (they/them/no pronouns) hat die letzten drei Monate Berlinluft geschnuppert und zieht jetzt erstmal wieder zurück nach Leipzig. Mit Leo kannst du durch die Nacht tanzen, oder entspannte Frühstücksmorgende verbringen. Vielleicht ist they aber auch gerade in their Zimmer und schreibt an einer neuen Strophe Zerstörung des Patriarchats.

Last but not least, Maxime (he/him)
hat diesen Sommer schon eine Weile bei uns gewohnt und wird es ab Mitte September wieder tun, wenn er von seinen Reisen zurückkommt.
Wenn er nicht gerade vertieft an seinen Animationen arbeitet, wuselt er energetisch umher, lernt Leipzig und Leute kennen. Mit ihm kannst du Englisch und Französisch sprechen…vielleicht auch schon ein paar Wörter deutsch.

Wir sind eine kleine Familie und freuen uns drauf, dich kennenzulernen. Bei uns herrscht hauptsächlich ein vegetarischer/veganer Küchenkommunismus, wir versuchen uns an regelmäßigen WG-Plenar und verbringen generell viel Zeit miteinander. Natürlich sieht es manchmal wegen Corona anders aus, sonst gehen wir auch gerne zusammen feiern oder planen an den See zu fahren. Wir essen gerne (viel) und machen Musik zusammen (oft).

Kein Bock auf Nazis, Chauvis und Querdenkis. Uns ist eine offene, nachhaltige, anti-rassistische, feministische, queer- und Beeinträchtigten-Positive Einstellung sehr wichtig.

You would live together with Lena, Clara and Leo ans Maxime.

Clara (she/her), lives in the smallest room, which could be called "cozy cave". She says about herself: "i would say sometimes maybe i am a bit all over the place." But when she's working on a project, the enthusiasm takes over. Clari is a very aesthetic person who loves to scroll through Ebay Kleinanzeigen to search for new treasures for the flat.

Leo (they/them/no pronouns) has lived in Berlin for the last three months and is now coming back to Leipzig:) With Leo you can dance through the night or have cozy breakfasts in the mornings. Maybe you’ll find them also in their room writing on a verse destroying the patriarchy.

Last but not least, there is Maxime (he/him) who already lived with us for a short time and will come back in the middle of September after his travels. If he’s not busy working on some animation, he’ll be around meeting people and discovering Leipzig. With him you can talk Englisch, French and even some words of Germain.

We eat vegetarian or vegan and share mostly everything in the kitchen. We're spending lots of time together, dancing, driving up to the lake, eating or making and playing music together.

No room for Nazis, Chauvis and Querdenkis. We insist on an open, sustainable, anti-racist, feminist, anti-ableist and queerpositive attitude.

Btw: Die Mietzahlungen, die wir hier angegeben haben, sind übrigens alle warm - schon inklusive aller sonstigen Zahlungen (also GEZ, Strom, Internet).
