If you are an international coming to Munich for work, this is the right room for you! (However, Germans are of course also welcome!)
Your potential future room is around 11 sqm in size, has a large nice window and is also fully furnished. You will find a wardrobe, a bed (incl. mattress) and a desk plus chair. It's a private room in a shared appartment, which has in total 4 rooms.
The apartment has one bathroom and a kitchen to share which includes also a little balcony. The kitchen is completely new (will be installed during Feb-2024) and includes a dishwasher as well as a wash-dryer that automatically washes and dries your laundry at one go. Of course you will also find a stove and a baking oven as well as a large fridge and freezer with a lot of space. You don't need to bring any plates or cutlery as the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for basic cooking.
Apart from that you will find the basics you need in the apartment such as a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.
Around the house is a green open space, which can be used by everyone.
The rent is "all-inclusive" and includes heating, water, power as well as the high-speed internet connection. This is an official place to live and you will be able to also officially register with the city and use the letter box etc.
The room has an unlimited availability, however, you can also stay for a fixed amount if time if you prefer (the mimium stay is 12 months).
The apartment is in the nice district Moosach in the North-West of Munich. It's a residential and very green neighboorhood with a nice little park in walking distance.
The connection to public transport is very good as the underground line 3 (U3) and the metro line 1 (S1) are only 6 minutes away (stop Moosach) and takes you to Munich Central station and the inner city within 10-15 minutes and has also a direct connection to Munich airport. You have also several buses stopping close by (lines 51, 163, X35) and a tram stop (lines 20 and N20).
With regard to shopping, the "Meile Moosach" is next to the train station where you can find several supermarkets around such as Kaufland and Aldi (cheaper one). You can also find several restaurants, a post office, a pharmacy and doctors in walking distance.
This place is mainly targeted towards internationals that come to Munich to work or study either for a limited time or also longer term (minimum stay of 12 months).
However, as your potential flatmates have a regular job you should be looking for and support a place where everyone can live in peace and relax from work.
If you are an open-minded person, are keen to live in an international shared apartment and also know the basics of living together in a shared flat you are the right person!
