Looking for Rental for Academic Year

Hi!

I'm Alex. I'm 35, I live in Detroit, and I'm planning to move to Eberswalde late September to start a Masters in Global Change Management. I will be in Eberswalde for one, maybe two years total, of course with some long visits back to Detroit throughout.

I own a house in Detroit that I've fixed up myself with a huge garden, so I'm very good at caring for spaces. I love to fix and build things, and I have lived in cooperative housing and am happy to share.

I speak English, decent Spanish and Italian, and poor but workable German. I teach dance, practice Thai massage, and work with high school students in experiential education. I enjoy dancing in any form, rock climbing, camping, yoga, riding my bike, hiking, gardening, sewing, cooking wholesome food... I'm hoping for a house full of good communicators of diverse ages and ideologies and a quiet room.

I'm looking for a shared house, but I'm also open to my own flat.
