Looking for a roommate in a great top floor apartment located on a quiet tree lined street that is also close to the shopping, restaurants and bars of Schloßstraße. Room is available starting September 1. Modern eat-in Kitchen, Large Terrace with great views, spacious Living Room, large modern Bathroom.

I know finding an apartment can be overwhelming for everyone involved, so please read this entire ad and follow these steps.

-- Have you lived in a flatshare before? What do you like about living in a flatshare?
-- What are the difficulties of living in a flatshare (and how to deal with them)?
-- Tell me a bit about yourself, your lifestyle, your job and why you would be a good roommate for me.
-- Do you work from home, and if so, how often?
-- Of course, feel free to ask me any questions you might have.
Step 3: For those who I think might make a good roommate, I will reach out to you and we can do a short phone/whatsapp call.
Step 4: I will then organize viewings for next week
Step 5: After the viewing, I will request a Schufa (jetzt beantragen) and proof of income from those still interested (this could also be provided before the viewing)
Step 6: I will make a decision soon there after

More about the Flat
================
I have just taken ownership of this flat so it is currently empty ... but don't worry ... I will have all new furnishings delivered over the next 6 weeks (and as the live-in owner, I will make the flat comfortable and look very nice). In the photos, the available room is the bedroom that shows a bed, but my plan was to rent it out unfurnished. However, if you would like to have a furnished room, let me know and we can discuss arranging for a new bed/mattress/dresser/desk.

The rent includes usage of all common spaces, as well as all expenses: WiFi/WLAN, heat, water, electricity, etc.

Registration is possible. Long-term lease available.

Getting Around
============
The S1 S-Bahn is 7 minute walk away (S Friedenau). The S2 at Priesterweg is 5 minutes away by bus. And the U9 at Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz is also 5 minutes away by bus. Buses 187 and 246 are just down the street. The 187 takes you directly north to the Ring-bahn and the city center. And the Schloßstraße of Steglitz is just a 15-minute walk away (5 minutes on bicycle).

I've lived in Berlin for 4 years. I was born in Europe but grew up in USA .. I also worked in Singapore and China for several years. I am a Product Owner (and budding Data Scientist) at an IT company. I’m friendly and outgoing, love nature/hiking, traveling and a nightly glass of beer/wine. And I also play a bit of acoustic guitar and try to get out to see live music whenever I have time. I am courteous and respectful of other people and their things/space. We can share a drink on the terrace or maybe watch a movie together. But everyone needs their private time, so there are no expectations (everyone can do their own thing).
