The room can be available for sub-rental or long-term lease as soon as March 1st.

The flat is currently going through roommate changes but currently there are two german speaking, two Chinese speaking, and one english speaker. We all speak english so that is the common language but not a deal breaker if you do not speak fluently or speak another common language. Internationals welcome. Great for students, long term and short term working professionals, long term travelers, and more.

🏡 About the room and the apartment:

The room is a bright, quiet space; about 20 square meters in size, with a floor-to-ceiling window wall that lets in plenty of natural light and a door that leads to a balcony. Whether you want to enjoy your morning coffee in the sun or relax after a long day, it's pleasant getaway while still being in the heart of Berlin. Key features include: underfloor heating for the winters and automatic blinds that allowing you to control the amount of light and privacy, .

There are two bathrooms (one with a bathtub!) so no waiting for someone to finish or feeling like you cannot relax in the tub. The bathroom also included a washer and dryer for in unit use. The kitchen is up to date and includes a dishwasher as well as access to a second balcony facing the inner courtyard. The living room comes with a TV, sound system, and couch for your use. There is also an extra storage room for food, drinks, household items, cleaning supplies, etc. If anything breaks, the apartment team will fix it. Internet, electricity, and broadcasting fee are already set up; no need for you to do anything more with it.

The room is furnished and comes with the following items:

- A large bed
- a spacious wardrobe
- a desk, ideal for working, homework, or projects in the privacy of your room, and accompanying chair.
- a shelf unit
- a pull out couch for having company over
- a night stand

The building also offers great communal facilities:

The apartment itself is located right in the heart of Berlin, a block away from Checkpoint Charlie: super central, yet quiet and with excellent transport links. A five min walk in any direction could get you to many different places around the city.

Just a 3-minute walk to the U6 and U2 Stadtmitte UBahn(city center subway station), Both Potsdamer Platz (SBahn/UBahn) and Anhalter Bahnhof (SBahn station) is only a 10 minute walk away,
Rewe, Hiit, and other supermarkets are within a 5 to 7-minute walk
Classic Berlin landmarks such as Checkpoint Charlie, Unter den Linden, and Gendarmenmarkt are just a brief walk away. With the Mall of Berlin, Brandenburg Tur, and Tiergarten being 10 and 20 mins away, respectfully.
Plenty of late night food options as well such as bars, döner, mcdonalds, kfc, and more less than 5 mins away.
There are even plenty of hotels within 1 to 3 blocks for any visitors you want to see but do not want to stay with you.

Whether you're cycling somewhere, meeting friends, or exploring the city – everything is easily accessible from here.

There are three current working professionals living here with me and one other roommate getting ready to move out. The remaining three all speak english but also speak german and chinese. They are great conversational people if that is your thing, otherwise they are good at letting you do your own thing and only talk in passing. If prompted, they can enjoy a game or two as we have plenty of board games, watch a movie, or enjoy a dinner together. Everyone is welcome to work in the common areas or in their room. No one is expected to do things that cannot or do not wish to participate in, but it's always appreciated.
