The room is about 15m², it faces the quiet inner courtyard. It is unfurnished apart from a 180cm (90x2) mattress* and a modular closet (Ivar from Ikea) you can change, a desk and chair - all free. It is smaller than my bedroom (rent accordingly). It has a big window, although ground floors are always a bit limited with light.

The apartment is in the inner courtyard on the ground floor - it has 2 bedrooms, a big living room with an open kitchen and a dining area, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, a cellar and a spacious private garden. I moved to this apartment in 2019 as the first tenant after it was completely renovated. It is an alt-bau but with modern features. The apartment has an alarm system and I am slowly transferring to more smart home features (currently, most of the lighting). The apartment is fully furnished, I designed it myself and I give a lot of care to the items I chose, trying my best to create a cosy home. There are a few things that need to be replaced soon such as the sofa and the fridge - we can discuss details when it's relevant.
The kitchen is new, fully equipped (including a dishwasher) and ready to use. It includes a kitchen island and plenty of storage room. The bathroom has a big window facing the garden, so it is very private. It has spotlights, a washing machine, big tiles on the floor and a corner bathtub for cosy winter nights. The garden always changes, at the moment it needs some work and I have many plans for it (compost, gravel, wooden patio). It is reached via my bedroom* (which is almost always open and welcoming), it is partly shaded with sunny times and different things can be grown.
*Since the fence needs to be replaced, it might be possible to add a door which is connected to the building's hallway and then we have a 2nd way to reach it.
The street is between the 3 main streets of Moabit - Turmstrasse, Beusselstraße and Alt-Moabit. Many buses are within a 5-minute walk (245, 101, 106, 123, m27), Ringbahn beusselstraße and U9 Turmstrasse are within a 10-minute walk (or a short bus ride), HBF (central station) 20 mins by bus
Rewe, DM, Allnatura, Bio Company, Kaufland, Penny and Netto - are all close by, as well as various speciality supermarkets.
Spree, Tiergarten, Schloss Charlottenburg, Plötzensee, Vabali, Markthalle, and many good cafes, bars and restaurants are within walking distance or a short bike ride :)

I am an atheist, flexitarian (although usually don't cook meat myself), honest, direct, communicative, warm, social, organized (apart from clothes in my bedroom…), clean and quite chill person. I have a dog - Lana, she is a 4.5-year-old Japanese Spitz, I "co-parent" with my ex, so she is away some days. She loves EVERYONE, is super cuddly, greets you like she hasn't seen you forever, barks when the bell rings or if she hears voices from outside sometimes, but quiet otherwise and very well-behaved.
I am a big believer in open doors, sharing things and being friends. Naturally, private time and space are respected and nothing should be forced. I am not a big cook, but we can always watch something together, go for a coffee, walk my doggy or invite friends over. The occasional and moderate sleepover is more than welcome. You can always join me - I dance tango and forro, watercolors, lakes, cafés, clubbing once in a while, hackathons, markets…
Everyone is responsible for the maintenance of the apartment and can find the time to clean and arrange things as adults.
The most important thing for me is communication - being honest and upfront to prevent build-up or unpleasant feelings. The apartment is for us both and everything can always be discussed with an open mind.
