Please read the advertisement before answering. It saves you time and us. The room is small and cosy. It's for a single person only for a few months, if it goes well long term rental would be possible and desirable. Short term rental, we are not doing anmeldung.
The apartment is an older style East Berlin apartment with high ceilings, wooden floors and stairs - NO elevator. The apartment is quite simple and is not fancy. We are looking for a quiet person who works full time away from the home, not home office. We both work from home full time and if another works from home or studies from home the house becomes too full. For this reason someone working away from the home is important to us.
It's a beautiful and cosy room with a safe and pleasant feel and the neighbourhood ' Kollwitz kietz' is very pretty, one of the prettiest in Berlin.
If you can answer in English it would be helpful.
The apartment is in a lovely berlin area with cobbled streets, pleasant cafes and great little restaurants, both expensive and inexpensive are all close by. Pubs, döner and kebab shops are also very close. Public transport is close.
No anmeldung. It's a pretty easy going environment. The room is furnished with everything you need. Wardrobe, bed etc The photo was taken some time ago and may have changed a bit here and there. We are looking for someone quiet and considerate, who tidies up after themselves. Washes up after they cook and does the small things that keeps the home pleasant for all. The room isn't big enough to have people staying over. There are plenty of cafes or pubs nearby to meet friends at. We don't socialise in the apartment, it is a home environment; we meet friends outside the apartment at one of the many local cafes or nearby pubs. It works out better for everyone if socialising is done outside of the home. We are both easy going and friendly. The room is for a single person only.
Kollwitz kietz has great cafes, beautiful tree lined streets, and is a peaceful area. If you are a drummer who needs to practice or an aspiring DJ who make a lot of noise - this room won't be suitable for you. Peace and quiet is important to us and also to the neighbours. Please feel free to ask any questions. Dishwasher - bathtub - washing machine - pots and pans, dishes, cups, plates cutlery etc etc. It's pretty much all here that you need.
