ÜBER DAS ZIMMER
Dein Zimmer wird aktuell von Haci genutzt und ist 18 m2 groß.
Es ist nach Süden ausgerichtet, sodass du an sonnigen Tagen viel natürliches Licht bekommst ☀️ Perfekt für glückliche Pflanzen! Im Sommer, wenn es heiß wird, brauchst du vielleicht Verdunklungsvorhänge – aber das ist Geschmackssache. Wer bin ich, dich zu beurteilen, wenn du Saunen magst? Ich bin übrigens auf deiner Seite 😎
Haci würde die Möbel gerne im Zimmer verkaufen.

We are looking for a new roomie to make this apartment feel like a nice and cozy home 🏡✨ You can find the details about the apartmet, the life as roomies, as well as other practicalities below. Please bare in mind that applications that are copy-pasted will be immediatly discarded.
ABOUT THE APARTMENT
The apartment is 180 m2 and fully furnished. It has a big halfway, a fully equipped kitchen (with a dish washer and a washing machine too), a bathroom, a living room a north-facing garden and three bedrooms.
It is located in a very quiet and central part of the city. The neighborhood is calm and cozy, as well as 15 minutes walking distance from the city center, as well as from Nordstraße (full of grocery and shopping options). It is located close to the tram stations Sternstraße and Schloß Jägerhof, as well as U-Bahn Nordstraße (now being renovated). I also walk to Marienhospital, Adlerstraße, Schadowstraße and Heinrich-Heine-Allee, which takes around 15 minutes too. In a nutshel: very well connected with public transport.
Couple of contractual / logistical points to keep in mind:
- The contract we have runs until the end of 2027. Until now it has been extended (initially it was to end on 2023), but this is a factor to keep in mind, since it is out of our hands.
- The property management only allows people with a working contract to move in, so please bare this in mind before applying.
- All three roommates are in the contract as main tenants.
ABOUT THE ROOM
Your room is currently being used by Haci. It is 18 m2.
The room is facing South, so you get quite a lot of natural light during sunny days ☀️ Perfect for happy plants! During summer when it gets hot, you might need dark curtains, but that is personal preference. Who am I to judge if you like saunas? I am on your side btw 😎
Haci prefers to leave the furniture in the room. You are welcome to talk to him about the price that if you're invited for a viewing.
ABOUT THE MOVING IN
Haci will like to leave by the end of May, so if you can move in by June 1st, it would be ideal. If you have different requirements, feel free to share them when we meet in person so Haci and you can deal with them.

Die Wohnung ist 180 m2 groß und komplett möbliert. Sie hat einen großen Flur, eine voll ausgestattete Küche (mit Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine), ein Badezimmer, ein Wohnzimmer, einen nach Norden ausgerichteten Garten und drei Schlafzimmer.
Sie liegt in einer sehr ruhigen und zentralen Gegend der Stadt. Das Viertel ist ruhig und gemütlich und sowohl 15 Gehminuten von der Innenstadt als auch von der Nordstraße (mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) entfernt. In der Nähe befinden sich die Straßenbahnstationen Sternstraße und Schloß Jägerhof sowie die U-Bahn Nordstraße (aktuell im Umbau). Auch Marienhospital, Adlerstraße, Schadowstraße und Heinrich-Heine-Allee sind zu Fuß in etwa 15 Minuten erreichbar. Kurz gesagt: sehr gut an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr angebunden.
Ein paar vertragliche / organisatorische Punkte:
- Obwohl der Vertrag aktuell bis Ende 2027 läuft, wurde er bisher immer verlängert – wir bleiben also optimistisch 😃
- Die Hausverwaltung erlaubt nur Personen mit Arbeitsvertrag einzuziehen – bitte beachte das vor deiner Bewerbung.
- Alle drei Mitbewohnerinnen stehen als Hauptmieterinnen im Vertrag.

It is located in a very quiet and central area of the city. The neighborhood is calm and cozy and is about a 15-minute walk from both the city center and Nordstraße (with many shopping options). Nearby you’ll find the Sternstraße and Schloß Jägerhof tram stops as well as the Nordstraße subway station (currently under renovation). Marienhospital, Adlerstraße, Schadowstraße, and Heinrich-Heine-Allee can also be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. In short: very well connected to public transport.

Ich bin 28 Jahre alt, in Mexiko geboren und aufgewachsen, habe einen Ingenieur-Background und arbeite aktuell in einem tollen Startup. Ich spreche Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch und lebe seit 3 Jahren in Düsseldorf. Ich habe viel im Ausland gelebt und reise gern.
Ich mag Gespräche über den Sinn des Lebens, Freunde besuchen, (Brett-)Spiele spielen, spontane kulturelle Aktivitäten über Rausgegangen, lesen, tanzen, bouldern, schwimmen, Cycling, HIIT, Yoga & andere random Aktivitäten.
Außerdem mag ich saubere und ordentliche Räume. Mir wurde gesagt, mein Standard liegt eher am oberen Ende – daher erwähne ich das hier 😊 Mir ist ein klarer Putzplan und gemeinsame Verantwortung für den Haushalt wichtig.

Ich bin eine 36-jährige kolumbianisch-deutsche Wissenschaftlerin und von Natur aus abenteuerlustig. Ich liebe Bewegung in vielen Formen, darunter Reisen, Sport, Sprachen und Musik.
Ich bin eine Frühaufsteherin mit einem ziemlich vollen Terminkalender, daher schätze ich meine Routinen und ruhige Momente sehr. Gleichzeitig bin ich immer offen für echte zwischenmenschliche Beziehungen, sei es durch gute Gespräche, gemeinsame Momente oder einfach durch eine positive Präsenz zu Hause.
Ich komme am besten mit Menschen zurecht, die bodenständig und unabhängig sind und eine ruhige, positive Energie mitbringen.
WG-LEBEN
Uns ist wichtig, dass sich die Wohnung wie ein Zuhause anfühlt. Keine Zweck-WG!
Wir organisieren ab und zu Brettspielabende, schauen Filme und reden in der Küche über das Leben (auf Deutsch, Spanisch und Englisch). Daher freuen wir uns, wenn du Lust hast, uns wirklich kennenzulernen und auch mal etwas zu organisieren :)
Wir wissen, dass Zusammenleben für jede Person anders aussieht – genau das möchten wir gemeinsam herausfinden. Wir müssen keine besten Freunde werden oder alles zusammen machen, aber die Bereitschaft, gemeinsame Zeit in den Gemeinschaftsräumen zu verbringen und unsere Erfahrungen als Menschen auf dieser Erde zu teilen, ist uns wichtig 🧸🛋️

I am 28-years old, born and raised in Mexico, with a background on engineering and currently working at an amazing startup. I speak German, English and Spanish and have been living in Düsseldorf for 3 years now. I have had my fair share of living aborad, as well as travel experience. I really enjoy having talks about the meaning of life, visiting friends, playing (board)games, doing random cultural things through Rusgegangen, reading, dancing, bouldering, swimming, Urban Sports, as well as yoga.
I also like spaces where I am to be clean and orderly. I have been told my standard is a bit on the higer end of the spectrum, so I though it would be important to mention it. Of course I am aware not everyone has the same upbringing and conditions to feel comfortable in their own house, but for me having a clear cleaning schedule and us taking responsibility on house chores is quite important.

We organize boardgame days from time to time, watch movies and talk about life in the kitchen (Getman, Spanish and English) when we see each other. So we would appreciate if you are interested in actually getting to know us and also organize stuff from time to time :)
We aware that this might look different for everyone, but that is exactly what is to be explored together. We do not need to become best friends and do everything together, but a general willingness to chill in common spaces and share our experience as humans walking this Earth is indeed quite important for us 🧸🛋️
