große, helle Altbau Wohnung, im herzen Neuköllns

I am looking for a reliable and friendly person or couple to rent a lovely, light 20 metre squared room in an 'altbau' flat from the 12th August until 4th September. (Extra mattress available for a child) shorter stays are negotiable

FLAT
high ceilings, altbau, stripped floors, the room leads onto a large balcony with lots of flowers (sun in the mornings and from 5pm) with a table and chairs for eating outside on and great for people watching, large bathroom with shower and bath, kitchen with everything (and more)that you could possibly need for cooking and relaxing in

LOCAL AREA
The flat is located on a leafy side street one minutes walk from Hermannplatz in Neukölln, with one way traffic so it is fairly quiet, though there are lots of cafes and restaurants within five minutes walking distance. What else? all within walking distance: 2 open air swimming pools, 4 cinemas, 2 open air cinemas, restaurants (greek, italian sudanese, lebanese, turkish, german, vietnamese..)bars and cafes, 2 lovely big parks with loads of stuff for kids like little farms, and fantastic playgrounds. also there is a kids garden one street away and a playground at the corner of the road.There is also a lovely canal 10 minutes away which is great for strolling along, and some great ice cream cafes :) The flat is just 2 minutes walk from a shopping street with supermarkets, fruit and veg. shops, etc. On tuesdays and fridays there is a lovely vegetable and clothes market round the corner.

This really is a lovely room and a fantastic location, and would be perfect for anyone who wants to explore Berlin with a bit of time or is looking for a reasonable and easy base for a holiday with or without children. I will happily send photos upon request.
