Hi all,
I'm subletting my studio apartment while I travel, Dec 15 until end of Feb (possibly mid March).
It's a super quiet 3rd floor Hinterhof apartment. No street noise, just the birds chirping, even though the location is pretty popping. The windows and balcony face south so it's bright by Berlin standards. It will be furnished and equipped with everything you need: towels/linens, stocked kitchen, monitor/desk for home office, etc. I'll clear out some space for your things too of course. No washing machine but the laundromat is right around the corner. There's outdoor bicycle storage in the Hinterhof. Price includes wifi, gas, and electricity. No Anmeldung.
Schillerkiez is a sought-after neighborhood in Neukölln. There are little pubs and cafés, coffee shops, bakeries, doner, etc. Aldi is half a block away and Lidl, Edeka, and Rewe are all close as well. There's a farmers' market every Saturday. The apartment is next to U Leinestraße (U8) which is one stop away from the Ringbahn or 13 min to Alexanderplatz. Nestled between the iconic Tempelhofer Feld, Anita-Berber Park, and Hasenheide Park.
Looking for someone clean and responsible who can pay rent BEFORE the start of each month so I can then transfer it to the landlord. It's also important to find a relatively quiet person since the downstairs neighbor is very sensitive to noise.
