As I have to move to Köln for personal reasons, I sublet my nice and cozy studio till the end of the year (November-December). The Mehrfamilienhaus, consisting of several studios was built in 2020. The studio comes fully furnished with a built-in kitchen (ceramic top, refrigerator, wash basin, and kitchen cabinets), a 140x200 bed (with mattress), a wardrobe, a work table with a chair, and long curtains. There is also an attached bathroom with a very large mirror. The studio is on the 1st floor, with easy access to Rather Kreuzweg via 2 separate entrances, and has an elevator. There are multiple vents in the house for air circulation and heating is underfloor. Washing machines and driers are in the basement for use by all the tenants in the apartment for a modest fee. There is a large bike parking area in front of the main entrance.
The apartment is located in a quiet residential area in Rath Mitte with multiple transport options ~5 mins away by walk: Trams 701 and U71 will take you towards the city center, Bus 730 towards Benrath, and the S6 to Hauptbahnhof/Essen. The closest supermarket (Netto) is 3 mins away with Rewe, Tedi, DM, Philips, and Aktion all within 5-10 mins walking distance towards Rath Mitte. There is a nice running path a minute away from the apartment.
For 20 Euros a month, you can also have access to a small private basement area where you can store things.
