Möbliertes Zimmer in Fachwerk-Altbau mitten in der Innenstadt zur Zwischenmiete

Das Zimmer ist ausgestattet mit einem großen Hochbett, einem Schreibtisch, einem Dreisitzer-Ledersofa, einem kleinen Tisch, drei Bücherregalen, einer Küchenecke mit Kühlschrank ohne Tiefkühlfach und einem Waschbecken. Ich werde alle meine persönlichen Gegenstände (Bücher etc.) anderweitig unterbringen, sodass du den gesamten Platz für dein Hab und Gut nutzen kannst. Dank dem Holzhochbett, das fest verbaut ist und etwas mehr als die Hälfte des Zimmers überspannt, ist der Raum für die Größe des Zimmers sehr gut nutzbar. Auf das Hochbett passen nebeneinander eine große Doppelmatratze (140x200cm) und eine kleine Matratze (80x200cm). Am Kopfende ist zusätzlich noch Ablagefläche und ein kleines Regal.

Das Zimmer hat ein Fenster in Richtung Norden mit Blick auf den Hinterhof und einen Biergarten. Die nächste Straße ist verkehrsberuhigt, daher hört man im Zimmer selbst bei geöffnetem Fenster und trotz Innenstadtlage überhaupt keinen Verkehr.

Das Haus ist ein altes Fachwerkhaus, das überwiegend von Studenten bewohnt wird. Es steht keine vollständige Küche zur Verfügung. Ich habe mit kleinen Schränken, einem Kühlschrank (ohne Tiefkühlfach) und einer Doppelherdplatte eine Kochnische im Zimmer eingerichtet. Ich hatte keine Probleme, in dieser Kochnische oft und lecker zu kochen, und stelle dir Kühlschrank und Doppelherdplatte gerne zur Verfügung.

Toilette und Dusche werden mit den Mitbewohnern geteilt. Pro Stockwerk stehen eine Toilette zur Verfügung, die Dusche wird mit allen Bewohnern geteilt und ist im hinteren Teil des Hauses.

Der Preis ist der Warmpreis inklusive Heizkostenpauschale (bislang habe ich jedes Jahr eine Heizkostenrückzahlung erhalten). Strom, Internet und Telefon sind NICHT im Preis enthalten. Strom kann übernommen werden; für Internet und Telefon müsste ein neuer Vertrag abgeschlossen werden. Neben den gängigen Anbietern gibt es auch eine Kabel Deutschland/Vodafone-Leitung.

Das Zimmer ist zwar kein Luxusapartment, aber ich habe hier etwa dreieinhalb Jahre sehr gerne gelebt. Göttingen ist eine alte Studentenstadt, und dieses Zimmer passt zur Stadt. Der Altbau hat Charme und der Blick aus dem Fenster auf die Bäume, Fachwerkhäuser und den Biergarten gibt einem das Gefühl, gerade selbst im Biergarten zu sitzen. Geht man aus der Haustür, ist man mitten im Trubel der Innenstadt. Alle Kneipen und Clubs sowie der Wilhelmsplatz sind zu Fuß nur ein paar Minuten entfernt - vor allem früh morgens am Wochenende war ich oft sehr froh, nur ein paar Minuten gehen zu müssen, bis ich zu Hause war. Mir hat es Spaß gemacht, hier zu wohnen und zu studieren, und ich kann das Zimmer nur empfehlen!

The room is equipped with a large loft bed, a desk, a big leather coach, a small table, two book shelves, a kitchenette including a refridgerator (without a freezing compartment), and a lavatory. I will store all my personal belongings (such as books) somewhere else, so you can use the full space in the room. Thanks to the wooden loft bed, which overspans about half of the room, the room provides a lot of well-usable space compared to its objective size. The loft bed provides enough space for a large (140x200cm) plus a small (80x200cm) mattress. At the front end, there is additional storage space and a small shelf.

The room has one north window facing the backyard and a biergarten. The next street is residents only, so despite its central position, you can hear almost no street traffic in the room, even with the window opened.

The house is an old half-timber house, which is mostly inhabited by students. There is no complete kitchen. I have installed a provisional kitchenette using cupboards, a fridge, and a portable double burner, which you can use. I had no problems cooking often and delicious in my kitchen!

Bathroom facilities are shared. The next toilet is a few steps downstairs around the corner. The shower is shared by all housemates and is located in the building in the back. You have to walk a few steps across the backyard to get there.

The price includes all cost except electricity, Internet, and telephone. Whereas you can resume my electricity supply contract, you would have to make a new Internet/telephone contract with a provider of your choice if you need to. Besides all typical providers, there is also a Kabel Deutschland/Vodafone line in the house that can provide >100 MBit/s Internet speed.

This room may not be a luxury apartment, but I really enjoyed living here for about three and a half years. Göttingen is an old university city, and this room matches the town. The old building is charming and the view from the window at the trees, timbered houses, and the biergarten makes you almost feel as if you were sitting in the biergarten yourself! All pubs and clubs, as well as the Wilhelmsplatz, are only a few minutes walking distance - especially early in the morning on weekends I was often very happy to only have to walk a couple of hundred meters to be home. It was fun to live and study here, and I can only recommend the room!
