A simple room with a window in an old house. We have a balcony which extends from the kitchen. The view is beautiful - hills and windmills. There is a garden beneath, with a grill and tulips in Spring and Summer.
This is a room for someone who engages in bigger questions of life. Someone who can sees him/herself beyond national borders. It doesn't matter what the question is - as long as you care about what is going on in this world and are realistically engaged in trying to change it.
Kreuz is one of the most beautiful areas of Bayreuth with a special history. If you read German check out the Wikipedia entry on this neighbourhood:

Practical considerations:
City Center - 7 minutes by foot.
Supermarket - 2 minutes by foot.
Bus Stops - 2 different possibilities, one is 2 minutes away and the other is 4 minutes away
University - 10 minutes by bike, 25 by foot - there is a direct bus connection which gets you to Uni in approx 20 minutes.
WG Kreuz has usually hosted very independent members, but we get along really well and hang out in the kitchen a lot. Once a week we try to cook together and we often eat together spontaneously. Twice a year we host the best house party in Bayreuth!
The collective has a history and a culture that is almost a decade old now. We would like to continue and we welcome those who are interested.
Only applicants interested in sharing house responsibilities are welcome to apply! At the moment Johanna (Masters/ Environmental Chemistry) and Lukas (Masters/ Geo Ecology) and Tanu (PhD Philosophy and Pedagogy/ docent).
