Hey, I'm Noah and looking for someone who will live in my roommates room while he is travelling.
I am german, but will write this in english so more people are able to read it.
Unfortunately, the date on which he will come back is not set yet, but to be expected somewhere around May. If you are interested in staying for a shorter amount of time that might work out as well.
The room is quite spacious and will include all the furniture except the shelf, which is marked in the pictures.
Some stuff that you don't want to have in there could be moved to the basement as well.
The flat itself has one bathroom, another room, which is mine and a balcony off the kitchen.
The flat is fairly close to the U3, U9 (about 7 walking minutes) and the S1 is a 15min walk away. Various supermarkets are reachable within walking distance.
I am currently studying my masters degree at the TU, due to online courses I am working fairly much from home.
Non-discriminating language and behavior is very important to me. Therefore I would like to live with someone who is aware of this and is on the same page.
An atmosphere where we can openly talk about things that aren't going the way either one of us imagined is very important to me. Problems or disagreements should be addressed so that everybody feels heard and well.
As it was before I am looking forward to a roommate that is not just interested in staying in the room but participates in some kind of social interaction. That does not mean you have to join playing cards with our downstairs neighbors or that we have to cook every meal together. Nobody should feel obligated to join on any activities, if they are feeling like being for themselves, but I would like to be on the basis of having little conversation in the kitchen from time to time. As we are meeting with our neighbors quite often you should not have a problem with people coming by and us sitting in the kitchen or the balcony in case you don't want to join us :)
As my roommate is the main tenant he will not be able to make a contract where you can get a proof of residency.
To get to know each other you can come by at some point or I can show you the flat via Zoom as well.
