SWAP Only: Berlin - Dublin
Because I'm doing an Erasmus semester in Dublin from mid-January on my room is becoming vacant and I'm looking for a room/flat in Dublin. Maybe you are from Dublin and are in a similar situation?:)
The room is just under 20 square metres in size and has relatively high ceilings. It faces the inner courtyard and is therefore very quiet. I'm leaving all my furniture there, but the bike will be put in the cellar and of course you're welcome to add things:) In addition to the kitchen, the bathroom and Max's room (my flatmate), there is also a small common room with a couch (which can also be used as a guest bed), a TV and Max's workbench.
The flat is part of a city-owned "Arbeiter-Altbau"-complex in Wedding/Gesundbrunnen and is also close to Pankow. U-Bahn, S-Bahn and Busses can all be reached in about 10 walking minutes. The neighbourhood is super lively, there's lots of good reataurants and cafés around and the proximity to the Panke (a small river) and various parks has calming effect despite the location:)
Your flatmate will be Max:) We've known each other for over 2 years from university and have become good friends, so our shared flat life is pretty familiar. Sometimes we cook together or watch trash TV, but time alone is also important to both of us, for which we give each other enough space:) We have a cleaning schedule that we stick to as needed, but the most important thing for us is open communication about everything.
The end date of my stay abroad has not yet been finalised - we can still chat about that :)
If you are not yet in Germany, an online viewing is no problem. As for the room/flat in Dublin, I'm open to anything, but as I'll be studying at UCD, not too far north would be ideal!
