Hey Berlin peeps,
I am leaving my room in Mitte (Rosenthaler Platz) from now on since I had to move back to France. This leaves you with the opportunity to become Hauptmieter, given the landlord accepts your application. Anmeldung of course possible.
Flat is around 57 sqm, my room is around 15 sqm and includes my desk (pretty large, definitely suited for e.g. IT professionals / musicians), office chair / TV stand, carpet (which I am all willing to sell for a fairly cheap price) and of course a 2-persons bed (included in the flat, not for sale)
Apartment is on the 6th floor, no elevator - helps burning that quarantine belly - no vis-à-vis, balcony gives on a small park, where people usually do yoga and chill, and gives a direct view on the Fernsehturm.
Living room / Kitchen area is pretty large, and well suited for having friends over for dinner & drinks.
200 meters from U Bahn / M1 / M8 Rosenthaler Platz, 5 minutes from S-Bahn Hackescher Markt.
Apartment is in a bike street and the room is on the inner part of the building hence you won't be bothered by car noises.
Lots of restaurants and bars in the area, yet not directly in the street which remains pretty silent at all times.
For the first few months the apartment will be shared with my flatmate Tom until he finds himself a new place. You will then be able to choose yourself the person you want to live with !
Tom works as a graphic designer for a pretty famous local fashion marketplace (tough riddle) and is pretty chill as a person. We often have friends over and play a bit of music but nothing extreme or that could be considered bothering.
Chores, inviting people over (especially in pandemic context), noise (e.g. playing music), and other aspects of the WG life were usually managed on a trust and respect basis, it would be cool if you could see it that way as well 🙂
Smoking is allowed in your bedroom and on the balcony.
Rent is 700 euros "warm"
Deposit is 3 times the "cold" rent, if I remember correctly I had the option to pay it in 3 times, should be the same for you.
