There are busses directly in front of the door, they take you to hermannplatz, rathaus neukoelln, treptower park.
shopping is super easy since sonnenallee is not far and also rathaus neukoelln, but there are smaller shops and also bio shops around the corner.
 

I am a queer-femme activist, phd student and freelancer who works from at home alot and or the library and will give birth to a baby girl in January. So you can imagine that if you are a party person, smoke and drink or listen to loud music at home etc, you are absolutely not fitted for this situation. As for wg life, i expect you to be ultra clean, not as in "yes i get rid of the worst dirt i make in the kitchen and don't care about the rest", i mean clean. i won't have the time or energy to have cleaning discussions or show you how to do it right. so be honest with yourself and just don't write to me if you know you're messy. i expect you to be quiet too, expecially in the evenings, visitors are okay of course, but no get-togethers, no parties etc. all in all you should be baby friendly and considerate. i regard my home as a safe place with non-violent communication and tolerance. generally i like sharing food and shopping, that is possible after a time during which we figure out whether we have similar basics. i buy bio stuff with a subscription at a local store. you should at least be okay with sharing biological non-aggressive cleaing material and detergents.

If the living situation works well and is nice for everyone, it can be extended. I advertised for a year to start with, however I want a trial period of a month or two in which either one of us can ask to terminate the share for no particular reason- simply if its not working.

all the rest i think we should discuss in more than one personal meeting, so please don't expect me to meet you for 15 minutes and then give you an answer the next day. this will be a process.

I know this is alot to ask for from finding a flatmate, but you will get a beautiful cheap room in the middle of berlin in a nice cosy home full of love, where there is always good food. I might be peculiar and asking for alot, for most ppl, this add is unsuitable, but I know you are out there ;)

Oh I speak German and English interchangeably, Arabic and Hebrew fluently, okay French and Turkish and I really don't care if we have a common really firm language - I pick up rather quickly and find communication always works if tried hard enough.

I consider myself an anti-racist activist and scholar soon to be parent of a brown kid in a white white world, who has put alot of time and energy fighting injustices globally, locally and personally. So you really also shouldn't write to me if you have any right wing, racist, xenophobe, conservative or anti-muslim or anti-semite sentiments, neither do i want to live with (ex-)soldiers, cops etc or zionists of any sort, especially not the german "leftist" type.
