The room is full of light with a big window and access to a pretty balcony. In the night, you can't hear any noises from the street. It's equipped with a work from home setup, including a desk and an office chair and an extra screen and keyboard if needed. The bed is very comfortable and in the winter you can get cosy in the chair next to the oven. We have a living room to hang out with friends, chill or to do yoga or in or whatever else you feel like. It has a sleeping couch, so it can also be transformed into a guest room for friends and family. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathroom has a shower and a bathtub.
The flat lies in a charismatic part of Neukölln between the beautiful Körnerpark and the Tempelhofer Feld. The closets S/U-Bahn stations are U-Bahn Leinestraße , S/U-Bahn Heimannstraße and U-Bahn Karl Marx Straße, all of which can be reached in under 10 minutes. It is a side street, so there is only little noise from cars. There are two amazing cafés right next to the house, where you can get the best brunch of Neukölln and some drinks (and Glühwein in winter). Close by are also many options for grocery shopping, including a cute little none-profit bio supermarket. Kreuzberg can be reached within 10 minutes on the bike, and the U-Bahn takes you to Berlin Mitte in about 15 minutes. There are also various nice bars in the area.
Franzi is a wonderfully kind and friendly person, a talented musician, and a great cook. She works with different groups and ensembles on music projects, loves plants and is always down for a chat or a coffee next doors. We enjoy having friends over and going out together, but we also respect each other's need for peace and quiet.
To make the city life more happy and green, I put several plants in the room, which a little bit of care. Secondly, the flat has coal ovens instead of central heating which may seems a bit rustic, but once you get used to it, it's actually quite cosy. I will leave the furniture, but put my personal stuff away. We'd prefer people who know how to clean up after themselves and who ideally take the room for the whole time. If you have any more questions, I'm happy to answer them. (:
