It is a big flat in a quiet and non polluted area. There is plenty of space and light.. The building is old but the flat is in a quite good condition with wooden floor and almost fresh painted. The kitchen/living room is huge; about 60 sq. meters. The appliances are old but in working condition, including a dishwasher. The room is furnished with a bed, closet, desk, shelves, and a chair. It is south oriented, to the house garden and is so bright and sunny as Berlin weather be.
It is a nice very quiet area of Berlin SBahn M1 is 400 meters away and there are some bus lines too. Daily shopping is within a walking or riding distance.
We live together: Kat, an Irish girl who studies to be an English teacher and me, an Spanish IT professional working for an start-up here in Berlin. We spend our energy and time at work or studying and back home we try to keep a relaxing atmosphere open to share a meal, a good talk or help each other but also value respect for the other persons private sphere. This is not a party house what doesn’t mean that you cannot invite your friends for a visit or celebration but keeping in mind the respect for the rest and for the flat. In the whole house, including the other flats there is a strong communal and open-minded atmosphere, we are in Berlin and the house is very Berlin.
